There are lots of +s to here and a few -s. The Tannery has a couple of buildings; we stayed in the one over the cookery school and had room 12 which is the smallest room from the floor plan attached. It had a Nantucket feel to the room as it was mostly white with wainscotting. It was simplistic in... More

Stayed last night with a couple of friends on a one night break. The room, although nice enough in design, had blood drips on the carpet, all the way from one side of the bed, around it, and to the bathroom. In retrospect, I should not have accepted it. Carpet also had other stains. Earplugs by the bed were an... More

Lovely warm welcome even though we got in late off the ferry. Fantastic meal and best breakfast we have had yet on our tour. Lovely place we would love to come back and taste more of the local food. I'm getting the cook book!

My wife and I stayed in the Tannery townhouse a couple of times now. Once in early 2015 when you would receive a so called breakfast in the room (continental style) and muffins hanging from the door at night which was nice but also disappointing. The rooms we have stayed in are always clean and pleasant and we have enjoyed... More

My bridesmaids organised my hen party here last weekend. Our whole group stayed in the townhouse - beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. We had our private dinner party downstairs in the cookery school - cooked by the lovely Paul Flynn. The food was fantastic! We had the lovely room to ourselves so we could watch him cook and enjoy... Stayed here last Friday as we were down to eat in the restaurant of the same name which is located across the street . It's a lovely building in the oldest part of the town . Room was a lovely twin and well kitted out although a little compact . Shower was good and strong but the highlight has to... More

Stayed one night on a Saturday as part of a get together with family in Ireland. Was a bit surprised to see ear plugs by the bedside and thought oh my god in for a a 'treat tonight' how wrong I was. A little bit of the Irish humour comes to mind. A perfect sleep was had. Breakfast a lovely... More

The excellent Tannery restaurant manages the Townhouse which is located a few minutes away. Breakfast is served in the Tannery to Townhouse guests. The small number of bedrooms are excellently appointed, have comfortable beds and good bathrooms. It is worth noting that there are just two rooms per floor and no lift so check your location when booking. Parking is... More

Absolutely love this place. It's in the centre of Dungarvan, the rooms are very well equipped with very large comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms. The Tannery restaurant is one of the best in Ireland, right across the road. Fabulous food and the staff are so lovely. I highly recommend it.
