My overall impression of Lawlors in Dungarvan having stayed there over the week is sleep in your car instead. The exterior was shabby, has not been painted in years... Cobwebs greeted me as I entered the main reception area. The room I was given was cold, and the furniture had a musty smell... The bedsheets were damp and had not...

We stayed one night after travelling down from Dublin and were provided with secure courtyard parking for our motorbikes. On the outside it could do with a fresher, brighter paint job that would at least make it look attractive. The reception and dining area are a little better but the rooms do need a real overhaul. The view from our...

Lawlers provides a superb selection of sunday fare with the full range of meat fish and vegetable, the service is second to none and the space, facilities and experience is most commendable, there is plenty of parking, lots of interior space and a well stocked bar, food quality excellent and highly recommended.

We have just returned from a golf trip to Dungarvan. We stayed in lawlers which was a perfect location. The hotel is right in the centre of the town and a short walk to the pubs. It is also a very short drive from three good golf courses. The hotel itself is a little tired but it was perfect for...

We have just been on a bus holiday to Ireland and stayed at this hotel on the first and last nights. The first night's stay was more relaxed and we had a better room than the last night's, which we asked to be changed. Some of our party found the last night's stay difficult as they were on a higher...

Stayed for 4 Nights as part of a Coach Party on a Half Board Basis. Our Room on the Second Floor was Clean and Comfortable. Whilst the water in the basin was hot, the water in the shower became cold, very quickly and before you could finish your shower. Hotel needs updating, but all the Staff were courteous and very...

I ate here last night. The food was beautifully presented. The filet steak was exceptional. It was served 'over hot coals' at my table and slowly continued cooking as I was eating it. A novel experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a fab evening there.......
