A nicely situated hotel near the harbour. The rooms are rather tired looking and could do with updating but were quiet and comfortable. The food was good but the servings are very small and are obviously strictly portion controlled with for example three sprouts and one boiled potato with the meat. However the quality and cooking of the food was...

On a "Just Go" coach break for 3 nights. Arrived very late for a 9.30 dinner and the staff were brilliant, food very good too. Breakfast as expected from reading other reviews was cereal, toast and a fried plate of 2 small sausages, an egg and a rasher of bacon, tea and coffee, except for the trip home where we...

We stayed Lawyer's Hotel for a quick getaway. The room and bathroom are definitely dated, but that's fine. They definitely could do with a new mattress as ours was a bit saggy. But, it did the job. Location-wise the hotel is central and walking to places for dinner make it very convenient. Breakfast is a bit of an operational mess....

We arrived late in the evening, and after the porters had popped our luggage up to our room, went to the dining room for a very pleasant evening meal. This was followed by a lovely glass (or two) of a home made punch. We both slept well, and after an excellent hot shower, we went down to a full Irish...

We were here as part of a coach trip and for the price we paid the stay was beyond our expectations. Large room, all necessary facilities, e.g. hair dryer, coffee and tea making facilities, t.v. Very clean, if somewhat dated in places, but that only added to the character. The food was superb, particularly their soups and deserts, and although...

A nice hotel, our room was a little jaded in places; but lovely and clean with comfortable bed and a large shower. Plenty of tea and coffee which is always welcome. The restaurant waiting staff were excellent and the meals couldn't be faulted

Stayed here for 4 days on an organised trip. Good choice of food for dinner but as we were on an organised trip did not get the full range that was available in the main restaurant. Rooms were adequate for our needs with all the 'normal' accesories accustomed to a 3/4 star hotel.

We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and relaxed which reflected on the guests from the receptionists to the waiting/bar staff. The food was fantastic. The people of Dungarvan were very welcoming as we found out when we entered the bars.
