This delightful small hotel in central Montalcino was recommended by a friend. The position is great as it's right in the centre of this lovely small town. Bedroom was clean and comfortable, with a stunning view across the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Breakfast comprises high quality ingredients - cold meats, cheese, honey - and amazing homemade cakes and pastries. Staff are...

Charming hotel with option for adorable apartments just steps away. We stayed in one of the comfy and beautiful apartments for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. Mario and Michaela are gracious hosts and did everything possible to make our stay perfect. We opted for breakfast in the main hotel and found it to be delicious. Our apartment had...

The hotel is an OK budget hotel with a beautiful view from rooms facing east. Bad experience about the hotells wine cellar. It looks like the wine hasn't been kept good. We tastet several wines from 2000, 2004 and so on. Even from the absolute best producers the wine was over the topp with no fruit left, and starting oxidizing....

This is a charming building with lovely views into the valley. It's location is perfect to walk around the village. And, the owner will park and retrieve your vehicle - a valued service! The one disappointment, which took one star off the rating, was the bed- an old, uncomfortable mattress, thin pillows and an iron frame which cracked against the...

During our stay in Tuscany this was the best Pici (the local pasta) we had. The whole menu is delicious and the wine list is extensive and excellent. The rooms...

An old building with renovated but small rooms, the hotel is charming. Nothing fancy, but adequate. The bathrooms have been renovated in all the rooms I saw, but I suggest asking for the rooms with a shower stall -- the one room I saw with a bathtub had the smallest tub I had ever seen - so small that your...

We stayed for two nights in this charming inn and loved it. It is run by a lovely family who clearly takes pride in tending to every detail of the experience at their property. It also offers breathtaking views of the iconic rolling hills of Tuscany, studded with vineyards. Rooms have been skillfully updated, yet they have managed to retain...

Lovely dining room, excellent food, served with a smile. The proprietor was so helpful, explained everything and let us taste his favourite wine first. Need I say more ! Totally recommended for all occasions

We enjoyed our meal here and wanted to stop again. The view is lovely and the food is prepared with love and skill. We did not stay at the hotel but it is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy good food.
