This is a charming building with lovely views into the valley. It's location is perfect to walk around the village. And, the owner will park and retrieve your vehicle - a valued service! The one disappointment, which took one star off the rating, was the bed- an old, uncomfortable mattress, thin pillows and an iron frame which cracked against the... More

A charming little hotel owned by Mario and Anna and their son Michaele it was a pleasure to stay there and Anna's chef skills are worthy of a Michelin star! During our stay in Tuscany this was the best Pici (the local pasta) we had. The whole menu is delicious and the wine list is extensive and excellent. The rooms... More

An old building with renovated but small rooms, the hotel is charming. Nothing fancy, but adequate. The bathrooms have been renovated in all the rooms I saw, but I suggest asking for the rooms with a shower stall -- the one room I saw with a bathtub had the smallest tub I had ever seen - so small that your... We stayed for two nights in this charming inn and loved it. It is run by a lovely family who clearly takes pride in tending to every detail of the experience at their property. It also offers breathtaking views of the iconic rolling hills of Tuscany, studded with vineyards. Rooms have been skillfully updated, yet they have managed to retain... More

Lovely dining room, excellent food, served with a smile. The proprietor was so helpful, explained everything and let us taste his favourite wine first. Need I say more ! Totally recommended for all occasions

We enjoyed our meal here and wanted to stop again. The view is lovely and the food is prepared with love and skill. We did not stay at the hotel but it is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy good food.

What I love about Italy and what I crave at home is how Italians celebrate simple things that are made well. To start, I had the porcini salad, and you might not think mushrooms could be that good or interesting, but when they're shaved paper thin and mixed with the best olive oil and parsley and lemon and the kiss... Lovely restaurant and one table has a fantastic view of the valley. The old man (owner) was super sweet and gave great recommendation what to eat..I highly recommend this place for lovely dinner. I had the pork loin with fresh truffle paired with a 2010 Brunello. Nice!

This was our second stay and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. The location is great so you can easily drive in and out of the village. And, the owner will park your car when you arrive and retrieve it for you when requested which is a very big convenience. Our experience with two rooms (#8 and... More
