Food: choice was generally good and decent enough quality throughout so should keepost all-inclusive veterans happy Drinks: Absolutely the worst part of the hotel for me and would stop me coming back here personally but some people could cope with them. The soft drinks have decent choice but the quality is unreliable. Sometimes weak, sometimes way too strong and sometimes flat. Beer - I like a beer and have to say the beer here is average. Decent enough in taste but often very flat. Wine - me and my partner being wine drinkers most nights we aren't snobs but honestly the wine here, all 3 types are bad. They taste like vinegar and you only have to nip into a restaurant in town to realise what great wines you can get at low cost in Greece. So disappointed. Cocktails - abysmal. No really juice on site so they are very bad to say the least Entertainment: One of the best parts of the hotel. Never seen such hard working and engaging entertainment team who are the ones that also dance for you in the evenings. I don't know how they do it but they really are awesome. Room: Basic and dated BUT very clean and the shower worked perfectly which is all you need when you spend most of your time out the room Location: Very good. Right on the beach and 10minute walk into ialyssos where you'll find shops restaurants and bars. Also 15 minutes from the airport so your transfer won't be long. However this comes at a cost, the flight path is right over the hotel and so regular flight landings are heard all day, everyday. Didn't bother me much though. Also half hour from Rhodes town or Faliraki. Take your pick whether it's partying or sightseeing or boat trips Other: WiFi is a bit iffy but works most of the time. Hotel lobby areas and dining room are reasonably modern, much better than the room. Summary: A genuinely good all inclusive hotel in a decent location with very friendly staff and decent enough food. Though if drinks are a key part of what you want from an all inclusive this might not be where you want to go but can be tolerated for at least a week…
Excellent family friendly hotel. The staff are all welcoming and friend from the receptionist, restaurant staff to the cleaners and entertainment team. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and ideal location on the beach front and easy to get to Rhodes town and Lindos. I had a great time staying at the hotel and I would highly recommend. The only 1 criticism is the flooring around the kids pool which gets really slippy when wet and its stupid to put that type of flooring especially in the kids area.
Had a fabulous stay at the D’Andrea Mare hotel, stayed for 7 nights at this all Inclusive 4 star hotel. Staff were fabulous and the entertainment team did a fantastic job. Pros Lovely hotel, laid out well and kept immaculately clean, fantastic staff, very clean and Covid safe, excellent and enthusiastic entertainment team, had a lovely large room with sea view and in a quiet location ( room 422) Cons The only real negative was that the bed was too hard and uncomfortable ( but that could be my personal preference.) I have read some reviews that the beach is very pebbly, it can be windy and that it’s on the flight path close to the airport… yes, yes and yes. But the pool area is lovely so the Stoney beach was irrelevant, the wind was welcomed as it was lovely and hot and the sky cloudless and as for the planes, who cared, a few seconds of noise and something to look up to. :)…
The Hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are a little plain and dated but they are clean which is most important to us. We got a standard twin/family room and had two separate beds which we asked the staff to put together which they did. We didn’t have the pool view room so you over look farms and mountains which was actually quieter than having a pool view as entertainment does start early and finish late, so if you like your sleep it’s best to be at the back (In my opinion). There was a mini fridge in the room and when we arrived there was water and sandwiches but they where never replenished. I think in a all inclusive hotel bottled water should be replenished everyday. Also there was no room service which I thought in a 4star there would be that option. The food was quite good but both me and my partner are vegetarian so we couldn’t comment on the meat. There was a lot more options then we thought there would be for vegetarians which was a present surprise. The snack bar do really good gyros pretty much all day until 6pm which where super tasty. The drinks let the hotel down, the alcohol and soft drinks unfortunately just taste cheap. The wine was horrendous and taste like vinegar to be honest. However the pool area and hotel reception is really nice, quite modern and clean. There are plenty of sunbeds but people still put towels down the night before and crack of dawn to reserve. Which is against hotel policy and frankly annoying. We are not early birds on holiday so would just sit were ever was free and move throughout the day to better sunbeds when they became available. The hotel is over a flight path, the plane noises are noticeable when outside but inside your room you can’t hear them. The hotel entertainment team including Mickey, Jo, Robbie, Demosa and Lillie where all great and a pleasure to meet. They put on a show 6 nights a week and are around the pool during the day playing games with guests such as volleyball, water polo, darts, beer pong and many more. They also put on a trip to falarki two nights a week for those who want to go clubbing, which is really fun, drinks are quite expensive in the club one round costs about €20 for 2 vodka cokes. This has been one of the first holidays we have been on that an entertainment team is so engaging with guests and take the time to talk to you and generally feel like they want to get to know you instead of it being a chore or job. Amazing team and all work so hard and have so much enthusiasm. Overall the holiday was brilliant we stayed for 11 nights and definitely would recommend to others. We came as a couple but there’s a lot for families with children to do, games, kids club, face painting, lazy river and more.…
D’Andre Mare has the most amazing entertainment team ! Me and my Family enjoyed the Aqua Gym, the shows, the bar by the pool, and the people from the hotel and the entertainment team - Robbie, Demelza, Micky, Lily and Joe ☀️💚🌟 Keep up doing such an amazing job!
