Hotel Lydia is located in between the town beach and the Old Town. Very easily accessible with supermarkets, high street shops and souvenir stores aplenty.  Rooms are of a decent size but the additional bed had a huge metal bar in the middle which was most uncomfortable. The beds had no blankets, you had to help yourself to the blankets...

The pros of the hotel was that it was very centrally located. Lots of shops and eating places nearby and also very close to the harbour and old town which was very convenient for boat trips. The rooms were decently sized as well. The beds in the hotel were quite uncomfortable and it was hard to have a good sleep,...

We stayed in a quadruple room at the Lydia for 4 nights. The double bed in the room was pretty hard and the sofa bed was also uncomfortable. We were very pleased with the location. The Lydia is a 5-7 minute walk to Old Town and the harbour. The Lydia is also central to the more cosmopolitian section of the...

Pros: perfect location in Rhodes Town for the Old Town area- walking distance to medieval castle, harbor, shopping, cafes and restaurants, bus stop, ferry boats. “Apartment” was very spacious and included full kitchen, three tvs, a/c, 3 beds and sofa bed! Breakfast had a very large assortment of delicious hot and cold items that varied somewhat each day. Lobby and...

The hotel was well decorated and the room was quite spacious with adequate storage space. It was very convenient for the Old Town and there is no shortage of restaurants within a five minute walk. However, towels were not changed daily - which we have come to expect from an hotel of this standard - but every other day. It...

The hotel was very luxurious and very reasonably priced. Probably the best value for money hotel I've stayed in. Best location and excellent service. Front desk staff very helpful. Didn't like the shower - but these are being renovated throughout hotel. An LCD Tv would have been nice and would have suited the surroundings although this didn't matter too much....

A good hotel in a very central location, with many good shops and restaurants around, a short stroll to the Mandraki harbour, the central bus station and the old town. The room we had was recently refurbished and it had a small veranda for sitting outside. It looked out to the rear of some other buildings but that was OK,...

I am just about to return for my fourth visit to the Lydia, spending two weeks each time. The hotel is ideally situated for anyone wanting to enjoy the delights of the town. I cannot speak highly enough of the service offered. Rooms are comfortable - the staff are all extremely helpful - the breakfast is excellent - the lunches...

An excellent hotel in an excellent location, a very short stumble to the Mandraki Harbour and Old Town in one direction, and to a selection of excellent non-touristy tavernas and estiatoria in the other. The refurbished rooms are clean, and amply furnished. The staff were extremely helpful, including, for example, arranging car hire. An excellent breakfast buffet was included in...
