#41 of 65 B&Bs / Inns in Perissa
We offer free transportation from the port or airport, anytime. The hotel also has a big swimming pool, and a pool bar, a breakfast room, and a restaurant. We also provide information about car and moto rentals, and tours around the island. The hotel is built like a small village offering relaxing moments to our guests. We are located very near supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and of course the famous black sand beach of Perissa.

Let’s face it…Hotel Perissa is so dirty, old, filthy, sloppy…that trust me, staying in a camping would be much better than this no-star hotel. Let’s start off from the check in. The lady (I think she’s Freddy’s wife) only thinks about making money: at soon as you arrive, she doesn’t even explains the hotel services because she tries to sell you the tour of the Volcano and the hot Springs. On your way to the room you can notice the dirty floor with mop marks everywhere. The room is noisy (the room door is a joke) old and run-down: the toilet seat is tarnished and full of stains, it is so disgusting that you’d prefer not going to the toilet at all. Towels are GREY and worn out. But the best part of all this sleaze is breakfast. You will NEVER find a clean cup nor a clean fork or spoon! Mugs were DIRTY with coffee marks like they didn’t even clean them. I felt I was going to vomit. The yogurt (that tasted horrible unlike the normal Greek yogurt) is served in a common bowl in a mini fridge that was not covered by any lid or cling film (not hygienic at all, considering the pandemic). The girl at breakfast with curly hair and glasses was so RUDE, I don’t even know how she could do a job like this if she wasn’t able to communicate with guests politely. The only good part of it is Freddy, a really kind man (he is the owner), but still Freddy, your property urgently needs a complete renovation otherwise you could go for “HOTEL HELL” and this might be the only appropriate use for your property.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! I booked a 7 night stay here recently for me and my family and 2 people couldn’t make it. Although we paid for a big room the hotel staff decided to give us a smaller room with the air con that doesn’t work. After complaining about the room and the size. The reception started to aggressively talk to herself in her own language. We were given keys to the new apartment.. which again felt like a let down as there were stains on the bed sheets one being blood stains. The air con once again didn’t work. We couldn’t bare the heat during the day and night. I have a 2 year old and he struggled most of the night due to lack of sleep we ended up opening the balcony door.. little did we know we ended up with bites all over us when we woke up the next day. The room smelt.. bathroom was filthy.. kitchenette doors and vessels were sticky and dirty. The list goes on. The next day we went out for the day before doing that we complained about the air con which we were told it will be looked into and when we got back it looked like the house keeper was around. When doing a spot check.. the sheets were still the same as the same stains were in each bed. Next to the bed the dirt was collected from god knows how long. The air con wasn’t fixed and we yet again didn’t sleep at all. We ended up staying here for 3 nights and booked ourselves another hotel as we didn’t want to go back early or ruin our holiday even more. Please do not book here as you won’t be looked after!!!

Check in was a bit confusing as they could not find my booking but I got a room anyway. My friends flew in that day and were collected form the airport free of charge which was great . It is budget accommodation but has a gourgous pool, and brilliant aircon. The staff at the pool bar couldn’t do enough for us and food was reasonabley priced . Location isn’t the best it’s a long walk to the beach. We also got a transfer to the port

Basic hotel but we only needed somewhere to stay for the week - spent most of our time out and about. The room was cleaned daily and you’re given fresh towels every day. Nice staff. The pool was good but the hygiene levels for the cutlery at the pool bar are very bad. Our cutlery had not been cleaned and we ended up using a plastic knife and fork that we had bought from the shop. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from a supermarket which is good and about a 15 min walk from the beach - too far to walk in the heat if you have small children but ok for adults. The pool was big and nice - basic sun loungers provided.
