This was a great little hotel. Our transfer from the port was arranged for us and the friendly and helpful driver gave us a tour commentary and delivered us and our luggage to our room. The room itself was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony which provided us with a great view. It was an easy walk to restaurants and into Fira. The pool at Sofia was a bonus and much used by our family. There is no breakfast room but the mini mart is very near so this was not really a problem for us. The breakfasts at the adjacent Mylos Cafe are delicious and the view is amazing.

Very good location in exceptional Santorini. Reasonable prices given the sometimes absurd rates in places on the cliff. We were impressed by the very friendly and helpful staff. Good and clean facilities, very close to cafes, restaurants and the cliff edge walk with the stunning caldera views. Will certainly return!

Stayed here August 2013 to attend a wedding ceremony. I must say, what a pleasant stay it was. I stayed in the twin room (think its the only twin room they have) with the best view, no balcony, saying that, the window opens up like a door (not recommended for small children) which gives the feeling of a balcony. Room was clean and quaint, with tv, fridge and hairdryer. Small pool area and well kept surroundings. This hotel is more like a guest house, small and friendly with only a hand full of rooms. Situated in perfect tranquil location, next to spectacular views of the Caldera and and a few fantastic restaurants near by. Only 10 to 15 min walk to the capital if you want something more lively. Fantastic value for money, considering how much other hotels charge to stay in this perfect location. Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Twin room has the best view. Double rooms are shared balconies and facing on to the windmill.

Bad experience from a to z. Their website says "Newly renovated spacious rooms." Well, newly renovated in the 80's and spacious by Tokio standards...

When we arrived, they tried to accomodate us in a double room, even though we had booked a triple room. The old lady running the hotel spoke hardly any English. We tried to move to another hotel after staying one night, as this hotel was very inconvenient place to stay with a small child. The response was: "Sure you can move, but we'll charge you anyway for three nights..."

"Highlights:" There was a strong smell of mold in the room, bathroom door was broken, balcony was shared with two other rooms, some kind of plastic sheet(?) in the bed, bathroom sink was blocked (had to fix it with a piece of coke can) etc. Do not believe the pictures you see online.

I was very dissapointed with this hotel. The location is convenient, the rooms are clean but nowhere near a proper 3 star hotel. There is NO view of the Caldera, Mylos Cafe which is right in front blocks the entire view. Do not be fooled by the pictures you see online. It is an average hotel and does not deserve more than EUR 50 per night. If you get a higher rate, just choose another hotel.

This was an ideal room to use as a base to explore! Only a stones throw from stunning views of the island, above a shop so very convenient, on a strip of restaurants, but as soon as the door is shut, you can’t hear anything from any of them! The pool is lovely. Very effective air con in the room! And only a 10-15 min walk from Fira where you can get the bus to the likes of Oia and Kamari - both worth a visit.

Our room was extremely clean and our beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our shower had lots of hot water and we thought that it was the best that we had on our trip to Greece (had some issues with poor water pressure and little hot water in other accommodations on our trip). We had a large beautiful balcony with table and chairs with a beautiful, partial view of the caldera. I considered the hotel to be excellent value. The wifi signal was excellent, also better than other places we stayed in Greece.

The location was great - there were spectacular views a few steps away, lots of nearby restaurants, and we were already a KM or so up the trail from Fira to Oia, which made our hike a bit easier on our middle-aged legs and lungs. Our host was very friendly and helpful - he allowed us to check in early, carried our bags, and helped us choose an excellent local wine from his small store on the ground floor. He also booked an airport transfer service for us early in the morning on the day of our departure (showed up early). The pool area was small but comfy.

Hotel is in a very good location, within a walking distance from bustling Fira's center and next to a bus station. We walked all the time and even did the 2 hr hike to Oia. Rented a car to visit other parts of the island in the south and east coasts.

The hotel is manned by the owner Sofia and has two young men who were helpful. They provided free pick up service from and to the port. Just make sure to call for arrangements at least 24 hour prior to arrival (also by air). The hotel is located on a second floor and has five bedrooms. It does NOT have a caldera view but you can literally walk less than 30 meters to see it. They are small but have basic comfort. We paid a good value compared to many other higher end options. Overall Santorini was expensive compared to our stays in Athens and Mykonos, and many services and restaurants were of subpar quality albeit good service in general.

We didn't have any particular inconvenient with the property. The only issue one for the staff assured they'd be same day availability (they have own arrangements with a local private rental) for cars for rent given lower demand towards the end of European holidays. On the very morning we needed no cars were available. We had to rent from another place at double the rate the staff guy had offered. So it was really our fault by not booking earlier but try not to rely on his advice for this

Me,my wife and 8 month old daughter spent 5 nights in the first week of June.its a small 6 room guest house type facility with a small pool.it does not offer the caldera view but is right on the walkway from fira to oia.the main bus stop of ferostefani along with lots of famous restaurants is a 5 minute walk.mini markets, cafes, etc is right next door for groceries, coffee, water, etc. Overall if you don't expect much from place unlike a "hotel" /resort, we found it a good value for money.including free hotel pick and drop.our room no 5 overlooked the pool, there were 2 rooms with balcony overlooking the walkway.

Beds and bath room is very little .The hotel is right on the main street in town, and the loud rental motor bikes start at about 6 am and go till after dark. There is a coffee house right across the street and bus transportation is within 70,meters.The House Keeping staff are great but the receptionist,if you can find him? leaves a lot to be desired. If I was ever to go back I would catch a ferry and go back to Ios or another Island. Santorini is another tourist trap destination
