traffic noise, basic breakfast, staff rather gruff, location a bit far from restaurants, and most of all a price not so good value compare with hotels in the neighbourood with more friendly people at the lobby!

The apartment is very tired and beds uncomfortable, which we could handle but the noise of traffic was constant all day and night. We booked elsewhere to get some rest and sleep, an unexpected cost that we could've done without. 😔

A travel agent in Athens booked us in to this hotel. While the hotel was serviceable and clean, the location wasn't ideal. George was rather gruff with us, and drove very fast (actually clipping the side of another car at one point). Breakfast was very limited, with just bread, juice, coffee. We asked if we could get yogurt or fruit and they said no. The room itself was clean, and we got a decent night sleep, but this would not be my first choice in the future.

We had a kind reception but the room was just terrible.
It smelt of dampness, was very small and the bathroom was delapidated.
The noise from the traffic was unbearable and getting any sleep was impossible.

The owner, George, is SO rude!! I've never stayed in a place with such terrible customer service! When my friend and I arrived, they told us that we're going to have to switch rooms after our first night. Having to wake up at a certain time on our holiday to pack our bags and switch rooms is simply not ok. Had we known this, we never would have booked at this hotel. When we protested, George shouted his point saying that he upgraded us for free into the two bedroom suite (as we booked a standard room with a double bed). We couldn't care less about the "upgrade". If we needed two rooms, we would have booked two rooms. The next morning just before 10am, they're knocking on our door telling us we need to get out. We kept telling them we'll be out in an hour but they came to our room again to push us out, called my friend and then George came to our room a THIRD time and was shouting at my friend. Judging from the reviews, they tend to overbook frequently. This is completely unacceptable. If it wasn't for the way we were treated, we would have been perfectly happy with he accommodations except the AC units in both rooms didn't work and the breakfast hardly counts as such.

We stayed at Sky for 3 nights, right up to Christmas.

There were 3-4 parties at the Hotel for the weekend, which is not bad for the offseason.

The stay was very comfortable, the room provided to us was cold, but once we turned on the heat, it was warm in half an hour.

They are very very generous...picked us up at port athinios and were waiting for us when we deboarded, dropped us off at the port on the way back as well.

Rooms are small (on par with Europe), but comfortable. Our room was heated well, had a kitchen (they provided us with a coffee maker, water purifier, teacups, silverware and plates), a fridge and oven/range.

Breakfast was 830-1000 every morning and food was good. Its made onsite, so dont expect a buffet line or trays of pre made stuff.

Sky is a 10 min walk from downtown Thira, where the clubs, shopping and food areas were. There are some shops along the walk to town.

For its price and location, its a great value.

Fantastic little hotel. Very resonably priced for Santorini. Keep in mind that it's not on the main hill (where all the expensive hotels and restaurants are) but its only about a 10 min walk.

The apartments are great as it gives you a little kitchenette to do your own cooking - great if you've got young kids.

The pool is fantastic and looks brand new. It's very relaxing to just lay on the sunchairs and take in the views.

The hotel is owned by a family and they are so nice and helpful by the end of it you feel as though you are part of the family. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the ferry (each trip about 15-20 mins drive) and there was no cost for this! Rates are extremely cheap for what you get and I would recommend it for all types of travellers. Breakfast is also included. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and kept in good condition.

While the main town centre is 10 mins walk, there are some restaurants and a mini market about 1 min walk down the road. The people in this area seem really nice and we felt very safe walking around at night.

I would be happy to return.

I did the booking at the last minute, so did not read reviews of the hotel. It was the only hotel in Thira that was not booked so I booked it for three nights. The price was around 115 Eur/night for such a bad place. It cost us 15 Eur per person from the post to reach the hotel by shuttle. Actually, it is not a hotel its a very old apartment and had bad terminology everywhere. The picture on their website is certainly photoshopped and they have some positive review that I see now maybe from their friends as fake as the pictures are on the website. There is no breakfast served there just opposite as they claim on their website. The rooms were very small. The bed was very old and uncomfortable. Pieces of furniture were also too old. I can find a not of dust on TV and AC remote. Toilet/bathroom was minus too with the smell and water spills everywhere if you are not very cautious during showers. Forget about drinking water from the Kitchen. It was too smelly and salty. I guess they had no purifier or some insect died in the water tank. The pool was a bit small for swimming but was OK until I see the DOG of the owner was drinking the water in the pool where I was going to take a bath in a couple of minutes. Besides all these drawbacks the owner was rude. The reception is open only till 10 to 3. Thanks, I am now out of that hell of the most beautiful Greek Island.

These apartments are nice for those that like to be independent, because every of each has it's own entrance and balcony. The hotel is not on the Caldera side but it has sea view on the other part. The owner and it's staff are very friendly and they satisfy you any need you have. The breakfast is basic not buffet, but is good. The prices are good too, great value quality - price. We paid with credit card and it was not a problem.
