Reverie is situated in Firostefani, only 700 metres away form the central square of Fira and just a few steps from the Caldera side. The hotel has very easy access by the main road (you do not have to walk up and down many steps) and it is very convenient in case you want to rent a motorbike, a car or use the public bus service as the bus stop is just 50 metres away. Free parking is also at your disposal. At the back of the hotel there is the traditional walkway which runs along the Caldera side and leads down to Fira (or up to Imerovigli & Oia) with an amazing view to the sea, the volcano and the breathtaking Caldera. On the hotel premises, there is also a terrace which overlooks both sides of the island and you can enjoy the romantic sunsets and the unique views. At the hotel’s reception, you could very easily book Volcano/Sea excursions & bus tour tickets or rent a car/ motorbike. They will find the best deal for you! All the rooms, with white furniture, combine modern facilities with a traditional charm. The family (born &raised in Santorini) will make you feel safe and comfortable providing you with all the info and tips you need for a memorable stay in Santorini!

We stayed here in late August of this year. Our room was wonderful. It had a large deck looking over the east side of the island. There was also a roof top deck looking west. The staff were so nice and welcoming that we felt at home. They helped us set up a harbor cruise and to sent an atv. The breakfast is fantastic. We will go back and stay here. The location is perfect.

Hotel's Favourite
THE best hotel. We were lucky enough to stay here for 10 days in room 5 and become part of the Reverie family. The hotel is loved and cared for a Greek family and the love they have for the property is obvious. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. It’s been a very difficult time for the world over with COVID - this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure your safety. Breakfast/cleaning/information is all accessed using a very simple mobile QR scan. Breakfast is delivered to the table outside your room and you can dictate when/if/how you want your room cleaning. The hotel is in a perfect spot. The gate at the rear of the hotel takes you straight out onto a traffic free cobbled street with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. It’s about a 5/10 minute stroll to Fira centre where the mail bus station is and from here you can access most places on the Island. If you need any trips around the Island then Nikolina will organise this for you. Price is the same as everywhere else so don’t waste your time looking around - just pop to reception and it will be sorted for you. To see the well renowned sunset go no further than the Reverie roof terrace. Grab a glass of wine and sit away from the crowds and watch the sun go down. It’s one of the best uninterrupted, quiet sunset views you’ll get. I really can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. It was a calm and relaxing oasis from this crazy world. We hope to see you all again soon! Book it now - you won’t regret it!

From the moment we arrived at the Reverie we were so impressed and so touched by how helpful and caring the Reverie team is. From Elias' welcome drink of homemade Rakomelo to the hand-delivered breakfasts every morning, everyone made us feel very cared for. When the weather conditions looked liked we were going to miss some of the things we planned to do, Nikolina and Elias jumped in, and with their local connections, moved everything around and we were able to do everything we wanted. They know all the best things to do and all the best restaurants. Our room was really special - it was large with a roomy armoire for a closet, and a small refrigerator. Plenty of room in the bathroom, which was tiled in a beautiful Santorini blue-hue tile. The location is great - Firostefani is just a few steps from the hustle-bustle of Fira, so it is very quiet and relaxed, but everything is still within walking distance. Our stay at the Reverie made our trip to Santorini (for our 10th wedding anniversary) an absolutely unforgettable vacation.

We found Reverie everything we could have hoped for our first trip to Greece. It is perfectly located for exploring the island (more on that below). The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable in setting up tours, rental cars, and general advice about restaurants and how to have the best experience on the island. Nikolina saved us lots of time and headaches with her excellent advice and help… and we left as friends. Exhausted after 21 hours of travel from California to Santorini, we arrived Reverie and were warmly greeted by George from Reverie to pick us up at the airport. Although George didn’t speak much English his big smile made up for the difference as he drove us from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival Nikolina sat us down for a quick overview of what to do and see in Santorini with a really fantastic traditional honey sweetened alcoholic beverage made by her mother. Nikolina was very helpful and friendly, speaks English very well, assisted us with important information and travel tips, and was available every day. We quickly became friends. The first morning we rose to an amazing sunrise on our sea view balcony! The room (#8) was very clean, nicely decorated, with a comfortable king size bed (which they call a double), and a small kitchenette. The staff quickly helped us relax for our first experience in Greece! Reverie Hotel is a family business where they really put their hearts into it. It is elegant, very clean, well maintained, and the family pays attention to lots of details such as candles lit along walkways and pool each night. They left us a warm note wishing us a happy anniversary. For an extra 12 euros they served us a delicious and generous homemade breakfast for us to enjoy on our balcony each morning. 😊 The location really is ideal! The hotel is in a perfect location in Firostefanos. That puts it a spectacular 10 minute walk to Fira, close enough to enjoy the town center without being inundated by noise and tourists from the cruise ships that get dropped off there. We learned the hard way that parking is impossible in Fira, but there is a very large free parking lot right across from the hotel, making it convenient when we wanted to travel by rental car. (Make sure you have an international drivers license if you want to rent a car or you will get stuck riding around on a 4 wheeler.) While the hotel does not have the iconic suites with the private pools with caldera views, you are not paying the premium price for that either. And it is a just few steps away from those iconic caldera streets for some fantastic photos, best in the morning or at sunset. The hotel is situated right on the caldera ridge, giving some rooms caldera views and other rooms views of the sea on the back side of the caldera. Both have views of the white houses and blue domed churches nearby. And they also have a shared rooftop patio that has spectacular views both ways. Some of the guests go up there with drinks to enjoy the sunset and enjoy each other’s company. We had room #8 with a patio that had a fantastic sea view (not caldron), so we enjoyed the sunrise and moonrise over the sea each day. There is a street with some traffic on the front of the Hotel (away from the caldera), but it wasn’t too noisy as the rooms are well sound insulated. The back of the hotel borders a very quaint narrow cobblestone pedestrian path running through town with great restaurants very close by and lots to explore. So we found the location much better than being in Fira and much less expensive than in the caldera. Perfect! The words on their website truly do summarize our experience: “Small hotel with big heart”. We have already recommended Reverie to several others considering travel to Santorini. You just can’t go wrong with it.

The staff at this hotel are what make it...(and the roof terrace). Elias, Nikolina and George make you feel so welcome from the moment they pick you up. We've never has a more seamless collection, transfer and check-in ever. Thank you! They also offered tips on where to eat and what to see and were always on hand when you needed them. The rooms are super clean and equipped with everything you need for a short stay, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked a dream! Hotel reverie is located on the fira-oia walking path, right in the centre of Firostefani which means you have bars and restaurants on your doorstep (quite litterally). Fira is a gorgeous 10 minute stroll away. We'd recommend Onar for that sunset meal (book in advance), Romantica for some top notch seafood and Zuzu if you fancy Asian inspired cuisine. The rooftop does need its own shout out though, shared with all guests, this is the perfect viewing platform for the caldera but you can also see the coast on the otherside of the island from here which surprised us! Overall, stunning, super friendly, and just the best choice! We'll be back to stay again, and recommend to all!
