Reverie is situated in Firostefani, only 700 metres away form the central square of Fira and just a few steps from the Caldera side. The hotel has very easy access by the main road (you do not have to walk up and down many steps) and it is very convenient in case you want to rent a motorbike, a car or use the public bus service as the bus stop is just 50 metres away. Free parking is also at your disposal. At the back of the hotel there is the traditional walkway which runs along the Caldera side and leads down to Fira (or up to Imerovigli & Oia) with an amazing view to the sea, the volcano and the breathtaking Caldera. On the hotel premises, there is also a terrace which overlooks both sides of the island and you can enjoy the romantic sunsets and the unique views. At the hotel’s reception, you could very easily book Volcano/Sea excursions & bus tour tickets or rent a car/ motorbike. They will find the best deal for you! All the rooms, with white furniture, combine modern facilities with a traditional charm. The family (born &raised in Santorini) will make you feel safe and comfortable providing you with all the info and tips you need for a memorable stay in Santorini!

I stayed at Hotel Reverie twice while I was island hopping in July & August 2023. I originally chose it based on reviews, the more affordable cost, the fact it had a pool and was a flat walk straight out of the back gate of the hotel straight onto the Caldera. I can’t tell you how thrilled I was that I chose Hotel Reverie and would recommend everyone who goes to Santorini to stay there!
It is only 15 mins walk from Thira and yet a world apart from the hoards of cruise ship tourists that alight in Thira!
Nikolina, her father George and nephew George are so helpful kind and informative, the gentleman who works around the premises and pool is lovely and helpful and our room was made up beautifully and cleaned thoroughly every day by the housekeeping lady.
Hotel Reverie is so much more affordable than most other places in the same area and yet we absolutely loved it. Even the pool was bigger and better than I’d anticipated and it was a welcome relief to have a swim during the balmy hot days we were there. Little touches like having a fridge and freezer for cold drinks and cool bag ice packs and a kettle, a really good shower and fluffy clean towels every day were so appreciated.
When you go out of the back gate onto the caldera views, turn left and walk along a few meters past the mini magnet and other restaurants until you come to Remvi restaurant on the right opposite a little church with the most beautiful views over the sea and Caldera. It became our daily ritual to go there at 12pm for brunch for a watermelon feta, grape and celery salad coupled with sausage and honey mustard dip!
The other highlight was at the Vulcan restaurant another 10 minutes walk further on. At 9pm every night they show Mama Mia the movie and everyone is given a set of headphones! The outside setting is magical and from there you have far more beautiful sunset views than we witnessed on the sunset boat trip! Do book a place for the movie a day or 2 in advance.
Finally we were overwhelmed by our trip to Akrotiri. The ancient ruins and tour guide (definitely worth having) bought alive history and an advanced society that goes back 4000 years BC.
Do stay in Firofestani at Hotel Reverie and I can guarantee you will have the best stay on Santorini!!!

Best hotel in Fira! Reasonably priced and has everything you want. Covid safe! Perfect for couples or families.
Special thank you to Nikolina who was incredibly kind, helpful and lovely to talk to. Elias made us feel incredibly welcome and was equally as helpful, explaining everything when we first arrived and had some great recommendations. The staff really were the nicest we found in Santorini and made a massive difference to our trip! The hotel made you feel incredible welcome and nothing was too much hassle!
My partner and I stayed during Covid in July. Felt very safe and the hotel had great measures in place; staff would only enter your room at request, sunbeds disinfected after every use. All facilities perfectly clean.

Location really is brilliant. One row behind the Caldera, mini super market 50m away and restaurants equally as close. Had a look at other hotels and nowhere came close for value for money! The pool is big enough and private from view, unlike many other hotels. Car hire (€25 for a day) only round the corner and bus station very close. The ten minute walk from the centre was perfect - the location for a hotel is far nicer a bit away from Fira Square. Not being right in the centre was better, a lot more relaxing and quiet in the evenings (cannot hear any noise from inside the rooms) but close enough that the option of going out is there with no trouble!
Rooms were beautiful, bigger than the pictures appear. Bathrooms incredibly clean and beds comfortable. Had enough cooking facilities to eat in if you want; fridge perfect storage.

The hotel really is a perfect stay. They really do have all the small things which make a big difference, such as free towels, brilliant service and their home-made Rakki! Also use the roof terrace (pictured) - very under appreciated. Perfect for watching the sunset with a drink in hand!
My partner and I had a brilliant time and could not recommend it highly enough. Not one bad word about the place.

Reverie Hotel is everything my partner and I could have asked for and SO much more! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Elias who was so kind, welcoming and helpful. He sat down with us and told us everything we needed to know about where to eat, what to do during our stay and how to make the most of our time. We were also pleasantly surprised by how much care was being taken to adapt to the current COVID-19 climate. This made our stay incredibly safe and relaxing!

The room itself was immaculate, spacious and had exactly what we needed for our stay. You could use your phone to easily select which housekeeping services you would like and when, which was very easy and efficient. The pool area is also lovely, and unlike lots of other hotels locally it is not overlooked by footpaths so feels much more private. Another bonus is that we were often the only people there! One of our favourite features was the rooftop terrace. With a spectacular view of the Caldera, we sat here most evenings with a drink and some nibbles and watched the sunset before going out for supper.

Having looked at lots of different hotels, we decided on the Reverie Hotel largely for its location, which did not disappoint! Just moments from our room was one of the main pathways along the clifftop, through the shops and restaurants that look out to the beautiful ocean below. There was also very easy access to everything else you could need including public transport, vehicle rental shops and stunning views.

The staff, especially Elias and Nikolina were fantastic and completely made our stay! They booked excursions, vehicle rentals and gave plenty of recommendations too. Nothing was too much trouble and they even gave us the recipe for the delicious drink we were greeted in the hotel with!

Our stay was exceptional and we could not recommend the Hotel Reverie any more highly! It really was perfect in every way. Thank you so much, we will be back very soon!

THE best hotel. We were lucky enough to stay here for 10 days in room 5 and become part of the Reverie family. The hotel is loved and cared for a Greek family and the love they have for the property is obvious. From the moment we arrived we felt at home.
It’s been a very difficult time for the world over with COVID - this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure your safety. Breakfast/cleaning/information is all accessed using a very simple mobile QR scan. Breakfast is delivered to the table outside your room and you can dictate when/if/how you want your room cleaning.
The hotel is in a perfect spot. The gate at the rear of the hotel takes you straight out onto a traffic free cobbled street with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. It’s about a 5/10 minute stroll to Fira centre where the mail bus station is and from here you can access most places on the Island.
If you need any trips around the Island then Nikolina will organise this for you. Price is the same as everywhere else so don’t waste your time looking around - just pop to reception and it will be sorted for you.
To see the well renowned sunset go no further than the Reverie roof terrace. Grab a glass of wine and sit away from the crowds and watch the sun go down. It’s one of the best uninterrupted, quiet sunset views you’ll get.
I really can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. It was a calm and relaxing oasis from this crazy world. We hope to see you all again soon!
Book it now - you won’t regret it!

I’ve never been to a hotel where I felt so well accommodated! The staff were wonderful and made our trip seamless as they provided us all of the important information on what we needed to know like transportation and recommendations on where to go and even provided us with those services. The room we stayed at was very nicely decorated with all of the important necessities (The beds were very comfortable). Location of the hotel is great as it’s only a 10 minute walk to the center of town, located in the quiet side of Fira with immaculate view of the iconic Santorini landscape. Photo attached is sunset from the upper rooftop deck. I highly recommend this hotel!

Reverie Hotel is in located in Fure, not in the center of town, but with all the areas blending together you wouldn't know it. We stayed 3 nights. The hotel was clean, spacious, with a helpful staff. Tons of restaurants in immediate vicinity (with tons of tourists walking about). I specifically reserved a room with a balcony, not realizing the room and balcony faced the East side of the island, overlooking power lines and a busy street during the day. It worked out okay though even though we did not overlook the volcano island. It appeared the hotel did have a suite that did have that view, but we were content and did not look into. It appeared some rooms had a pretty unexciting view of inner courtyard. They offered breakfast delivered to you room for 10 euros per person, but we did not use, choosing to walk to a bakery for a lighter (and cheaper) breakfast. Tap water is not for drinking, but the hotel sold bottles for a reasonable price. They sit you down at check in with a little schpeel on activities and attractions. Pool is small and in an inner courtyard. They have a small rooftop viewing spot to watch the sunset, which we did once, but weren't impressed because of the haze which seemed to be ever present. We were envious of some of the very attractive rooms at other hotels, but their prices made us content with the Reverie. They arranged a car to pick us up at the airport for 25 euros, and gave us a free ride back if we paid our bill balance in cash. Would recommend if you are aware of what you are getting.

Could not recommend this place enough and there is not one bad thing I could say about Reverie hotel or the staff that work there. I had booked to go during the height of covid and Nikolina was so kind and helpful in helping me change the dates of my stay to accommodate when travel was allowed. We arrived in santorini late at night and the hotel offer a transfer service which is cheaper than a taxi that we used, the driver was waiting to pick us up and a short journey to the hotel and there was a member of staff there to take our bags and show us to the room. The next morning we were greeted by Nikolina and given lots of useful information about the island and excursions which was fabulous!! The hotel it’s self was spotless the room was so clean and you can pick how often you want housekeeping to come into your room & clean, change the bed sheets & bins. When you are sitting out by the pool Mr George brings you pool towels to dry off with as well. Will definitely be back to Reverie and will be telling anyone who wants to visit Santorini to stay here.

Thanks for everything !!

We stayed here for three days, just as the Greek government relaxed its quarantine rules and welcomed vaccinated travelers from the US. The Reverie was a treat from when we were picked up at the airport, to the large and delicious homemade breakfast, the clean and comfortable poolside room, and of course our friendly hostess, Nikolina. The hotel is in an ideal location, just minutes walking from the center of Thera but with great views both of the caldera and the beach-side. Firostefani has excellent restaurants (with sunset views) and several shops with everything you'll need as a visitor!

Had a memorable time in Santorini and the stay at Reverie was among the reasons. The booking experience was good (on the website), I had requested for a pick up at the airport and it went flawless.
A warm welcome at the hotel awaited us followed by a quick orientation about the property and the system of ordering breakfast and fixing cleaning times as required...the first through a code scan and the latter on an app. Breakfast has ample choices.
The hotel has a terrace which gives great sunset views. And sunrise can be seen from all levels.
Nikolina, the owner is a marvel. She was so prompt in responding to the email for arranging the pick up, she came with fantastic tips for visiting...she takes time to understand the guest's sensibilities and comes up with brilliant suggestions. The staff is courteous and polite.
We were in a standard room, adequate size, good space for things, comfortable bed and linen. Bathroom is not large but adequate. Must add, the sunset view is only from the suite on the top floor. Cleanliness was excellent.
They have a small common dining area where one can order wine, coffee etc...it is open till 9 PM.
If you are looking for public transport, the location is about fifteen minutes walk from the Fira bus stand, buses to major locations in the island ply from this point. Taxi drops you right at the hotel. There is a rear entry of the hotel which is right on the winding road from Fira to Imerviogli. Ample restaurants around.

Will definitely be back.

We spent 4 lovely days in Santorini and the staff at the Reverie Hotel were part of the reason why. They were very welcoming, helped us recommendations and booking our quad-bike and transfer to the port and always open for a small chat. You can clearly tell that they love Santorini, love their job and care about everyone to leave the island with the best impression. Thank you Nikolina, Elias and your dad (sorry, forgot his name :/) for going above and beyond!

The hotel is very well located and has direct access to the main road in Firostefani, which leads into the main areas of Fira. Oia is about 45min away by quadbike. The immediate area however, has lots of good shops, restaurants and most importantly...great views of the caldera! The rooftop of the hotel has amazing views of the area and the sunset too.

The room we stayed in was very clean, well organized, well stocked and the housekeeping staff did a great job in tiding it up when we requested it. The pool area was also quite nice and very well kept.

The Reverie is definitely a gem among all the available options for accommodation in Santorini. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this wonderful and unique place

Apologies for the terribly late response. The answer is, most likely yes, considering the background given in your query.

Oia is busy during the sunset time (thousands of people visit the village to enjoy it during that time). You can book excursions , tours , whole day ones or less than 6 hours ones directly from the hotel ( prices for most of them are fixed) and they will arrange your pick ups as well.I wouldnt recommend you to book something in advance as sometimes several companies dont provide a value for money service.

The hotel is very close to town centre, and you can actually walk to Oia (takes a couple of hours). We did hire a car for a couple of days to see the other side of the island.

We spent seven days in Santorini earlier this year and there was definitely enough to do in seven days! You have the cliffside towns of Oia & Fira with stunning sites (and sunsets!), museums, Ancient Thira, boat trips around the caldera, Pyrgos, vineyards etc. We didn't do everything in our seven days, although we did also take time to relax. Santorini is absolutely beautiful. Crete is a much bigger island (the biggest of the Greek islands), so will definitely have more than enough to fill a week's stay. Hope that helps and enjoy your trip!
