Loved this hotel. It is a small boutique hotel facing the caldera in Firastephani. The staff is amazing. They were very accommodating. Every request was answered with a yes! Since it faces the caldera, there are a lot of steps. Request a room at the top if walking up and down steps is a problem. The view from our balcony was the best. Every morning our breakfast was brought to us by their amazing servers. I felt like I was royalty. The rooms are all different and decorated in a chic style. I was so sorry to leave this fantastic hotel. Thank you for making our trip to Santorini one that we will not forget.

The staff at the Homeric Poems where outstanding, rooms spotless and views breath taking.

Stefanos, Dimitra, Nic, Elias and Yannis went out of there way to ensure you had everything you needed and made the stay very pleasurable.

Nic bringing breakfast every morning, at your desired time, to enjoy on your private terrace whilst enjoying the views of the Caldera. Stefanos and Dimitra serving drinks in the pool bar in the afternoons and serving them on your private terrace as you watch the sun set. Elias and Yannis organising catamaran tours, car rentals and any other requests you may have.

Would give them more than 5 stars if one could. Highly recommended!

My friend and I stayed at Homeric Poems during the second week of August and were blown away with both the hotel and the staff! Everything that we asked for was actioned immediately and the staff were incredibly smiley and friendly; always asking us if there was anything else they could do for us. Yannis was amazing and actioned a request we made prior to our arrival. As we were leaving, stefanos told us we were now part of the family and we couldn’t have felt this more!!! The view at the hotel is breathtaking and we particularly enjoyed having breakfast on our private balcony every morning. We ordered room service one evening and the truffle pasta was absolutely divine! We would definitely recommend ordering room service and watching the sunset from your balcony (we preferred this over oia)! The hotel’s location is superb as it is incredibly quiet and peaceful yet only a ten minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Fira. Thank you so much to all the staff at Homeric Poems for such a relaxing and memorable experience, we definitely will be returning!

From the minute we arrived we experienced the most amazing service and hotel ever! We are lucky enough that we have travelled the world and stayed in many many hotels however none compare to the Homeric. Guests are on first name basis with all hotel staff and they cannot do enough to make you feel comfortable and happy. The view is unbeatable and the pool area is beautiful. Food and drink is incredibly well priced considering it’s a five star hotel and it felt more like you were being served by your friends than hotel staff as they were all lovely. The cleaning staff are exceptional and paid incredible attention to making the place sparkle. We will absolutely be back next year, We couldn’t recommend it more!

My husband and I stayed at Homeric Poems in early April 2022 as part of our honeymoon, and we had the most amazing experience. Even before we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. We had a last minute change to our travel plans, and Memi, one of the reception staff, was able to accommodate us checking in a day earlier than we had initially planned. We were very warmly welcome when we arrived, received a charming tour of the property, and promptly received delicious welcome drinks.

The room itself (Eros), was absolutely stunning. It was very spacious, had a beautiful rounded ceiling, comfortable bed, and huge windows that looked out over the caldera. We spent tons of time on our balcony just soaking in the breathtaking views. Our balcony (and the bar) were the perfect places to watch the gorgeous sunsets. The location of the hotel is also perfect for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia, and is very quiet at night (great for light sleepers!). After walking to Fira (10-15 minute walk) and Oia (2-3 hr hike), we were even more convinced we had chosen the perfect hotel and location for us. While those towns are lively and full of restaurants and shops, we were looking for something a bit more relaxed, and we certainly found it at Homeric Poems.

After days of exploring Santorini, we looked forward to coming "home" to the hotel, relaxing in our room, then heading down to the bar to watch the sunset and chat with the staff. Nikitas, Gabrielle, and Spyros felt like old friends of ours by the end of our stay, and we loved catching up with them at the end of the day. They served fantastic drinks, dinners, and breakfasts, and their charming personalities went such a long way in our book.

This hotel is an absolutely gem, definitely the best we've ever stayed at, and while the property and location are breathtaking, the staff are a huge part of why we will definitely be recommending Homeric Poems to our family and friends. While we had the most interaction with Memi, Spyros, Nikitas, Gabrielle, and Stefanos, each person on the property makes their guests feel special and valued. As a final example of the way the staff go above and beyond, when it was time to leave, they even arranged for breakfast boxes to be taken to our room for our pre-sunrise departure!

We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel, and will absolutely be back!

This was our "splurge" hotel for our 2 nights on Santorini (out of 10 nights in Greece) so we had big expectations and Homeric Poems still exceeded every one! The views are breathtaking and as if that wasn't enough, the service is impeccable. The staff was so friendly and helpful with every request. Our suite was so pretty, we had private lounge chairs and meals were served on our patio. The location in Firostefani was perfect - Oia was just too crowded - we had views, bars, restaurants within walking distance (and without hills!) and Thira was a short walk away. Add to that front row seats to the epic Santorini sunsets. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Homeric Poems! We were so impressed by the friendly, courteous staff - they went out of their way to make our time in Santorini a wonderful experience. Stefanos and team made us feel so welcome and the attention to detail was impressive.

The location of Homeric Poems is perfect - the views are breath-taking and the proximity to Fira is so convenient. Breakfast is served to your private balcony each morning and the food is delicious!

We would highly recommend staying at Homeric Poems if you're planning a trip to Santorini. The incredible staff, amazing location, and amenities will make your vacation a memorable experience.

Just arrived yesterday after much anticipation only to find our Grand Suite DOES NOT have a King Size Bed!!! And the little bed that is here is soft. This is the most disappointing discovery. I am dumbfounded that a hotel of this stature would not have a King Size bed in its highest category room; this information is interestingly missing from their website. I had a reservation at Mystique which I cancelled because Homeric Poems looked nicer but didn’t realize I’d be sacrificing bed size. One of the 2 A/C units in the room does not work. Our “hot tub” is lukewarm. Not the 35 Celsius they advertise. The weather is cool which is lovely for sitting on the porch in a hot tub but instead we are cold when in it. Just came to the pool where at a 5 star hotel an attendant would usually come with several towels and make up your chair. No towels, no attendant. On a positive note, the view is gorgeous, staff amazing, and food phenomenal. However, I am here for my 29th anniversary, so as an older person, a squishy, small bed is a real disappointment. The Grand Suite Gaia which we are in is otherwise beautiful. Clean and spacious.

We have been to many beautiful places but Homeric Poems is definitely one of our top hotels. From the moment we arrived, mid July for 4 nights, it was superb. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming . Stefano the manager was so helpful and attentive helping us with dinner reservations which was a huge help as there are so many restaurants to chose from it really helped to have his advice and contacts. We got reservations in some of the best restaurants and even had seatings for the sunset in a couple. We loved the location as the views were fabulous yet it was just a 10-15 stroll into Fira for the lively nightlife in the evenings. The views, room, bar/pool staff, breakfast and location were second to none which all made our stay a holiday we will never forget. This hotel ticks all the boxes and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special quality break away in beautiful Santorini

My wife and i truly enjoyed our stay at Homeric Poems Hotel its perfectly located with breathtaking caldera views, the rooms are a good size, clean, and smelled great. Private balcony and order to make breakfast daily, which i do miss! The pancakes, fresh orange juice, eggs and bacon were my go to. The staff were all fantastic, the surround restaurants were great. As many have mention i was lucky to come across this hotel prefect way to spend my birthday. Definitely will return. Would be more than happy to answer any questions about this property.

Answer from Greg C

We stayed in a Deluxe room which offered a very large balcony and would assume a larger room than a double. We thought it was worth the extra money.
