We were a group of 8 and had booked 3 rooms. It was quite late when we arrived and Manolis picked us up from the port and took us to our rooms. We were impressed with our volcano room which was very cool, particularly as it was the middle of summer. In the morning, Manolis had a large map and spent a significant amount of time recommending places for us to see. His recommendations were spot on. There was a lovely outdoor seating area outside our room, as well as a communal large balcony area that we would sit. Our stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend Alea Milos. Our room was clean and exactly as described. Manolis was lovely and friendly. Alea is at the top of the hill, so keep in mind that although it is very close to the centre of Adamas, you will need to climb stairs to reach it. We had a car, bit preferred to walk to our room and only drive to places that were further away. We experienced nothing but great hospitality and am surprised by the negative reviews. Alea Milos is small and family run and offers rooms to stay in, so if you are after a large hotel, this is not for you. No there is no reception, but this was not an issue for us. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

First day we were asked to pay instantly all the sum even there was a deposit for reservation. Without even seeing the room we were asked again to pay so we did. Well we said ok that should be the only negative part of our stay. We asked the cleaning staff to help us by giving directions to park our car and she said "well ask around they will guide you". So helpful. Later on we tried to take a nap and we couldnt since you hear the whole day the boss fighting with the staff or talking on the phone loud enough to keep you awake. Day 2 and after putting the sign "clean my room". We got back and found the same pillow covers and sheets (same spots) and of course only one towel replaced . Oh well i won't mention the shampoo or shower gel . None was replaced for 5 days , thanks god i come prepared. However the day of our departure we met the boss who seemed to be a good guy but still a bad businessman . Definitely the staff makes this place a mess .

I have a lot of negative aspects to bring up about this particular hotel. Take a few minutes of your time to read this, if you intend on properly enjoying your vacation in Milos. Mr. Manolis, the person responsible for this “hotel”, had completely ruined our first-day experience in Milos. In the beginning, Mr. Manolis was helpful and kind with us, as he recommended certain spots to see. However, the pictures that you see in this website are not completely accurate to what the reality of his hotel actually appears to be. Once we arrived, we were disappointed with the room, it mainly stunk of sewage. My family and I were extremely unhappy and refused to stay for the nights we booked. This frustrated Mr. Manolis and we got into a heated argument with him. He refused to refund our first deposit and continuously insisted to pay him for all three nights, despite the fact that we seemed extremely unhappy with our stay in Alea Milos. We called the police, he made a whole ruckus of the situation, and he insulted us multiple times. I had never been so insulted in my life. All and all, this was the worst experience I ever had on a vacation. Mr. Manolis ruined our trip and does not know how to be professional. Do not waste your time staying there.
