Average but clean and basic hotel with good location for Linga lift, but not in main Chatel village, food was ok but not for fussy eaters, bar service was poor had to find a member of staff to serve at the bar most days.

We had a lovely weekend away here. It's very close to the Linga lift so v convenient for skiing. The room was simple but clean and spacious with a private balcony. Dinner in the hotel has to be prebooked in the morning, which we didn't realise and were turned away one evening. Lovely breakfast though.

We stayed here for five nights in mid January on a half board basis. The staff are lovely and the food was very good. At breakfast there was plenty of choice and the evening meals were great. The hotel is located very close to the Linga lift and has a number of ski hire shops directly opposite.

Fantastic value, especially for half board. Food was great and they pulled out all the stops for dinner on new year's eve at no extra cost. Staff were super helpful too. Great location very close to the Linga lift and the bus to Pre la Joux. Rooms not flash but clean and big enough, and really excellent shower. I will...

Stayed here for a 5 day ski trip. Hotel is basic, but very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and it's extremely conveniently located for the ski lift that takes you into the Portes Du Soleil ski area, over to Morzine and Avoriaz. The centre of Chatel is a bit of a trek, so take the free shuttle bus (probably...

This is not a sophisticated or glamorous but it is very good value and far nicer than the 2* rating implies Rooms were cosy but not too small (though if you did squeeze four in then they'd be very cosy!): they were clean & pleasant. The breakfast was outstanding: grwat selection of pastries, cold cuts, cheese and pies / sweet...

We arrived late due to flight delays to find ourselves locked out at 23.15. After 15 minutes knocking on every door and window (no phone signal) we were let in. Our family room was quite small ( 2 twins and bunkbeds) and the bathroom door would not shut properly. Wifi did not work in the rooms and only sporadically in...

This hotel deserves far more than it's advertised two stars. Very friendly, accommodating staff; great location 100yards from ski lift; clean, warm, quiet, good food and excellent value for money!! We stayed half board and enjoyed every minute. Will be coming back for sure!!

We got a room with two single beds and one bunk bed. The bathroom was nice and newly renovated. In the room there was an oven, one of these radiators where you don't really know which way you are supposed to twist in order to turn it off. A bit annoying when it's very warm in the room and you...

I stayed here from 16th to 19th January on a girls' skiing trip. The hotel is warm, clean and comfortable. The couple who run the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating with a good sense of humour! We hired our skis across the road and then walked for about 3 minutes to the bus stop. The free bus takes...
