I booked and paid for a 10 night stay in a 1 bed apartment for 2 people here for my husband and I on the spur of moment. I then read the reviews on the hotel booking sites and was absolutely dreading it. The reviews I read were mostly negative and commenting on the lack of cleaning etc. I then decided to make the most of our holiday and decided I would take my own cleaning products and equipment and resigned myself to a few hours of cleaning. On our arrival, we were allocated an apartment on the ground floor approximately 20 steps away from the pool. On entering, we were both pleasantly surprised. The apartment was very spacious with a large bathroom with separate bath and shower and twin vanity sinks; large entrance hall; separate toilet; large living area with kitchen and dining area and a lounge area as well as a spacious bedroom and furnished outdoor terrace. There was a tv and air con unit in the lounge and bedroom. The kitchen was adequately equipped for 4 people. The only complaint really was that the floors hadn't been mopped properly for what appeared to be a consideeable period of time. However, having bought my mop, it took me around an hour to mop to my standard which meant I could happily walk around the apartment barefoot. The apartment was quite dated but more than adequate and in a good state of repair.

We found the pool to have plenty of sunbeds whatever time of day we went and there were a few umbrellas, however we took our portable beach umbrella so it wasnt an issue for us. There was always plenty of car park spaces available but not always right next to our accommodation but this did not inconvenience us in any way.

The residence is not really within walking distance to anywhere so a car is necessary if you want to get out and about. There are 3 large commercial areas about a 5 minute drive away with a variety of shops and restaurants. The residence is very quiet and with the added bonus of manual and electric shutters, any light can be totally blocked out and as such, we had the best 10 nights sleep in a long while.

The staff we encountered were all pleasant and helpful, especially the man on reception who dealt with a wasp issue we had.

All in all we had a lovely holiday and are looking to return next year albeit with a mop.

We stayed in an apartment on the first floor, it is spacious, good beds, nice bathroom but small kitchen. Wifi ok, swimming pool nice.
Not enough parkings pots in front. The location is outside Avignon but quiet.

Nice place with great in room coffee. But the heaters did not do more than blow air. The shower drain smelled, even after we asked the front desk to do something. Ended up covering it with a towel and waste bin and use the bath

A nice and big appartment with a beautiful balcony and our appartment had a view over the golfsite. The beds were comfortable. The pool area with the sunbeds were also nice. The straff was very helpful and serviceminded. We only wish that you have put 2 coffeboxes in the room to the coffemachine, so we could make a cup of coffe. There was a little poor equipment in the kitchen.

Nice and clean, perfect location near the golfcourse, great view from the balcony on the golfcourse, kitchen is sufficient, shower/bathroom in order, no complaints at all, apart from checking in (after 20.00), our key was not there, so took some time to grant us entry. Apart from that one thing; all good!!

We loved this hotel. We had two suites - each very clean with very nice decor. Bathrooms quite large and clean. No shortage of spaces to park your car and good roads for running in the AM. Breakfast was delicious and reception staff extremely nice and helpful with all questions and requests.

I booked this place based on the fact that it had a reasonable rate, but was still listed as a four star hotel. However it is not a four star hotel. It is a complex of self catering apartments. The apartment was nice enough, but it is in no way a four star hotel as their website indicates.
There is a sign in French (luckily I just about worked out what it said) on the back of the toilet door stating that depending on length of stay, then your room either gets cleaned every three days, or if you stay a week, not at all. In my case, I was there 5 nights, and the room was not cleaned once. No clean towels, and we had to buy our own replacement toilet roll. There were cobwebs and dead spiders in the room, and burn marks on some of the light shades.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone without a car, as Avignon town centre is a 25 - 30 Euro taxi ride away.
Plus points are that you get more room in an apartment than a hotel room and it has a TV and nice bathroom, but what I saved on the booking, I spent on taxi fares. If you have a car and want a self catering apartment, then this place would probably suit you, but not as a normal city break hotel.
The reception staff were OK, not enormously friendly, but perhaps this is limited English language skills than anything else.

This hotel is probably great if you like golf (we don't) but we found it soulless and wind-swept. It has not long been built, and they are still building parts of it - it had the air of one of those slightly tacky golfing hotels going up on the Spanish costa. The rooms are well appointed, but that is about all one can say that is positive. The pool is very exposed and totally devoid of character. If you have a few extra Euros, stay at the Auberge de Cassagne nearby, which is delightful.

loved the stay. Practical, clean, comfortable and best of all the people working there are very nice!
I lost my way on the night I arrived - Ms.Sarah actually drove to the ikea mall to meet me and lead the way back to the hotel. So nice of her...thanks for that.
