We stayed here because it was one hours drive south of Calais which suited us after getting of the ferry at Calais. It's an old Village with a lovely square, Shops and restaurants. The Hermitage has a secure car park which is important to us being loaded up for a few weeks away and not wanting to carry everything into...

A wonderful location at the centre of this historic town. We have stayed at this hotel several times and it never disappoints. The rooms are generous in size with good sized beds and bathrooms. Breakfast is served in a large attractive room on the ground floor and all tastes are catered for. Coffee though was disappointing. You can boil your...

Lovely hotel, friendly welcome, generous size rooms, very clean and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and both bedroom and bathroom were lovely and warm. Breakfast was very good with everything you could want in a continental breakfast; bread, pain au chocolate etc, cereals, toast, eggs, ham and cheese and also yogurt, fresh fruit and dried fruit. Excellent...

This hotel is in a nice old building and has private parking. Rooms are very spacious and typical french style in a old building. The good thing is they have a powerplug next to the bed as i miss that a lot in these old hotels. Quiet rooms and excellent shower, only thes showering in the bathtub i cant get...

Visited here several times over the years and has not disappointed again. Comfy rooms , decent breakfast and a nice welcoming bar with friendly barman. Situated slap bang in the middle of the lovely village. Plenty of good restaurants and lovely walks around the ramparts. Our favourite restaurant is Le Darnetal following a couple of visits. Would happily visit the...

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel on a short break to France. Once again it was very pleasant, comfortable and very good value for money. Very friendly staff too. The location is excellent, in a very pretty historic town. For a one or two night break from the UK, I would say this is an...

Stayed for two nights. Really good value. Spacious, clean and quiet double room on the first floor overlooking the square. Great location although to be fair the town is compact so you are not that far from anywhere. Breakfast was good with the expected range of fresh bread, preserves, ham, cheese, eggs etc. One small gripe was the slow speed...

This hotel's central location makes it a perfect base for exploring Montreuil. The town is very compact anyway so nothing is very far from anything else, but a central location really adds to the convenience, especially when changeable weather forces a change of plans and/or clothes. Our room (a standard double) was large and comfortable, with room to spread out....

So if you're thinking of buying wine this hotel is very convenient, although when we were there, the Wine Society had virtually no stock! The hotel is comfortable and within 5 minutes walk of the main restaurants in town. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. The room was big, comfortable and had good facilities. The hotel...
