First of all, I LOVE Santa Teresa and I suggest you get there before the entire world finds out about the place. Santa Teresa is just tough enough to get to that it keeps the crowds you find in Jaco and Tamarindo at bay. There are a lot of expats that live there meaning that you'll find excellent restaurants and...

My husband and I have travelled to Costa Rica quite a few times now and can honestly say our experience in Santa Teresa was one of the best. Blue Surf Sanctuary played a huge part of why this experience was so amazing. The staff at Blue Surf know exactly how to make your stay relaxing and show you how to...

Blue Surf is an amazing place to stay in Saint Teresa, it was incredibly clean, comfortable and great location. A minute walk to the beach, surf boards for rent on a daily or longer basis was super convenient. The staff is truly so nice and helpful. Common kitchen was great for making breakfast and getting to meet other guests and...

I had the most amazing week of my life at Blue Surf. The accommodations are pristine, immaculately clean, safe, comfortable and abound with good vibes. Every staff member was polite, helpful, friendly and just lovely. Sofi, Maggie, Veronica and Jude all made my stay the best it possibly could be, and far above my expectations. I had 10 sessions with...

The only issue you will have will be the realisation that one day you will have to leave this place and return to your job and life! I didn't want the hassle of transporting my board from Florida and was setup with a nice 6"7 thruster from Denga Surf Shop within an hour of arriving. Endless perfect waves await travellers...

It was a warm community of guests and he staff was reactive to every want or need. The surf instructor, Toro, was warm and professional. I received his detailed analysis into all things surf,...

We spent Christmas and New Years at Blue Surf. We had a party of 9, my sister and her family, and my family, 4 adults and 5 teenagers. We rented all 4 villas so we could spread out and enjoy the place all to ourselves. The villas were very clean and spacious. The shower areas were well done, and large,...

Blue Surf Sanctuary went above and beyond, from the moment we landed in Costa Rica until after we left. The staff were all very friendly and personable, helping us with everything we could need. The bungalow's are very well maintained and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing our own meals. Would highly recommend staying here, just...
