My boyfriend I stayed here in the pool view room for 4 nights. Room was very clean with large bed and AC. Located right across the street from beach access. Very friendly and helpful staff, brought breakfast right to our room in the morning :) Only downside was the hotel was located at the far end of the beach from...

We booked a last minute room because as spoiled rotten americans we decided we had to have AC for a night. The room we booked could have slept 4 easily with a large queen sized bed and two singles. It had a kitchenette and bathroom was great with all the hot water you needed. The property is well maintained, clean,...

I have stayed at many hotels in the Santa Teresa area and this has been my least favorite. It is at the peak of high season, but for $150 a night I would expect far more. There is very little privacy here, and it feel like you are being watched by management and all the other guests. The room decor...

DO NOT waste your time at this hotel. We experienced the worst service at this hotel. They are sneaky and try & sell you on tours and excursions, but at very different prices. One staff member gave me a price... so we booked it and then the next day I asked the other person at the front desk for a...

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Esencia Hotel and Villas. We were there to surf so the location was great for the early starts. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is clean and refreshing and the rooms were great - complete with kitchen which was convenient. Great stay - would go back!

Irwin was fantastic as was all the staff. We had a beautiful casita all to ourselves with a kitchen - it was huge. Bathroom was large and nicely finished. Front porch was fantastic and the hammock was a bonus. Our own outdoor shower which came in handy for rinsing off after surfing. Beach was only a short walk down a...
