Don Jon's is the kind of place that is easy to roll in and stay for months if you can. The rooms are cool, the beds are comfortable, the wifi is good, the music is good, and you are really close to one of the beach entrances. Jon offers basically anything you could ever want as well. Cold beer in...

This is a wonderful hostel which has clean rooms and wonderful staff. Jon, the owner, is a very nice relaxed man who is always up for helping out and giving guidance. There are great places all around to eat and explore and the beach is a hop skip and jump away. I would definitely recommend this to fellow travelers.

Can't say enough good things about Don Jon's! Such a beautiful site, with the hammocks and tree house and the communal area in the front. I stayed in a dorm room, which was air conditioned and had a private bathroom. The place was cleaned thoroughly each day that I was there. The communal kitchen is a bit basic, but more...

I did not stay at the hotel/hostel. I was staying across the street at a place with no restaurant so I wandered into Don Jon's for breakfast. The breakfast burrito will feed a normal person for two meals which makes it worth the ₡3,500 ($7 USD). Ask for some aluminum foil and take half to go. The burritos come with...

Don Jons is a great stop for any type of traveler heading through or staying in Santa Teresa. The mood of Don Jons is mellow and welcoming to everyone. Great spot to meet fellow travelers and or surfers. Jon is a really helpful host and answers any questions needed. Accommodations are great and the hostel has a really awesome tree-fort/yoga...

The rustic cabins are so cool...literally felt like a lost boy in never never land! Love the hammocks and relaxing space at the very top. Rooms were neat as well, clean, and nice to have a fridge. Close to grocery stores, and a couple of restaurants. Would definitely return :)

Quiet and cosy place to stay. The Rustic houses are amazing and as it's says is a place to relax to the max. If you want to have good surfing days, this is a good choice to stay and a good prize! Great places to eat around too.

Stayed here for 2 nights and unfortunately got bed bug bites on my first night!! I was told by fellow travellers and Jon himself that the particular bed I slept in had bed bugs a week before but I was assured that the mattress was destroyed. After waking up covered in bites I told the staff who was completely unapologetic...

Second time at Don Jons and was even better than the first. Jon is a legend, our cabana was great, there's been some cool additions to the place like more hammocks, showers, yoga area and unlike most things in Santa Teresa, the prices haven't gone up. It's also the same price for a beer off Jon as it is in...

Stayed 3 nights here with friends in a rustic room at the back. Rooms were nice and different, sleep 4, private bathroom with cold shower, porch and hammock out front. They are also far from the road and reception so pretty quiet. On the roof there is a great deck with hammocks where they also do yoga classes. Location is...
