We stayed for five days in the Cohune Cabin at Coconut Row in Hopkins. Damien, the owner, and Patricia were quick to welcome us on our arrival, and Max quickly helped us with our luggage. Our cabin was literally on the beach, with the lapping waves no more than 50-100 feet away. The sand was very clean and kept so each day by the grounds staff, first thing each morning. The background cooing of the red-billed pigeons was very relaxing. We ate many meals in the resort's Coconut Husk Restuarant. The staff at the restaurant, Iris, Janet and one other who we've lost her name (sorry), were so friendly and the food was excellent. We even bought the t-shirts the staff wear and are walking ads for the resort! If we're ever back in Belize, we'll stay at Coconur Row for sure!

Great comfortable cabins, right on the beach! Plenty of rooms to spread out and there is obviously great care taken of the property. Damien and his staff were very friendly and gave us some great dining options nearby as their restaurant was closed for the day. If you want to explore the local town instead of a resort place, this is it !

Damien and staff were excellent! Easy to talk to and get information, planned our snorkeling excursion from there too. The room was great, walked onto a beautiful stretch of beach every morning. Walking distance to places to eat, try Jalapeños! Great food and it was jazz night when we went. Also walking distance to store to pick up food and beer. I would definitely go back again!

We stayed in Cohune Cabin for 6 nights, right on the beach. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Sitting on the porch staring out at the ocean - no better way to relax. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was perfect. Small refrigerator provided came in very handing for keeping drinks cold. Easy walk around town, and the Hopkins community was warm and friendly - always a "good morning" or "good night" as you passed. Be sure to eat at Thongs for breakfast, and Siomara's for the best fajitas. A little farther walk, but well worth it, Frogs Point has great dinners. We'll be returning!!

We stayed at Coconut Row for the three days we were in Hopkins. We were right in the center of the little town on the beach and we had a wonderful time. Our cabin was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I can't say enough nice things about this charming staff.

The beach is beautiful and calm, and the local food is delicious. We explored all around and very much enjoyed adventuring around this unique little town.

One thing I will add is that though, you can book your tours through Coconut Row, I definitely recommend booking directly with the tour companies. Not only, will you save money, but you will also be supporting the people actually doing the tours.

The Travelers Roost cabana is a two bedroom unit with wonderful views of the sea. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped allowing me to cook a large meal for friends without stress.

It is obvious the owners and staff take great pride in the property and they want guests to have the best experience possible. Everyone went out of the way to make sure I felt welcome.

The property is well-situated in the middle of Hopkins Village. There are authentic restaurants close by and a well stocked grocery store just up the block. There is a complete menu of activity and sightseeing options available.

Damian, the owner, is a wonderful guy and takes a very personal interest in how your stay with him is going. He's very kind and generous with his time and has lots of great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Five of us traveled and we stayed in the two cabins back from the beach and could still easily see the beach and ocean from our balconies. It was only a 30 second walk to the pretty beach. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Kyra, who checked us in, is a great spirit and joy to be around. The rooms were clean and well supplied and bedrooms had AC that could be used at night. During the day the constant sea breeze kept the temperature and comfort level just right. The location is perfect being on the beach and steps from downtown. We only wish we could have stayed more than the two nights we were there.

We stayed at Palm Cove Cabins from Nov. 9-13 this year and all I can say is it wasn't long enough. We stayed in the beachfront Cohune cabin. It was a lovely space that was super clean and airy. We never used the air conditioner...who would want to when you can open the windows and let in the the perfect breeze and sound of the surf. We had the best sleep here, an easy 12 hours a night. Loved it! It often rained at night which added to the sound of the surf because you are literally 30 ft. from the water. We never saw more than 8 people on this little section of beach, most often it was just the two of us.To add to the perfect location and comfortable accommodation (did I mention how comfortable the bed was?), is the most wonderful guest services professional! Her name is Kyra and she goes above and beyond to ensure each guest is made to feel welcome. She was our first introduction to Hopkins and she is a credit to herself, Palm Cove Cabins/Coconut Row and Hopkins in general. Kyra's personality and spirit made me want to stay at this accommodation and not move to our next location. We hope to return and will most definitely stay at Palm Cove/Coconut Row or it's sister property Buttonwood Guest House. I can't say enough; from the maid service, Diana was wonderful, to the grounds crew who brought us fresh coconuts to drink from, thank you Matthew and Andre. This is a small, intimate setting that makes you feel like you belong. Congrats to Damien and your family on your new addition. I am sorry that we didn't get to meet you. Your patience and help with our booking was very appreciated during such a busy time for you. Staying in the village of Hopkins in these lovely accommodations is the way to go. We have 0 negative things to say. Thank you Palm Cove Cabins for an amazing experience!

We chose Hopkins, Belize for the sole purpose that it was a quiet village so that we can just relax. Let me tell you that the cabins at Coconut Row did not disappoint. We stayed in the green beachfront cabana. The room was clean with coffee maker and refrigerator and daily clean towels and linens. The breeze was always blowing and although they had air conditioning, we never needed to used it. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. The beach was very clean and plenty of chairs and loungers to use. The hammocks were a nice touch as well. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Patricia was very knowledgeable about all the excursions that they offered. We did an all day snorkeling excursion that we booked through the hotel. It was an amazing experience to swim with nurse sharks. We also rented bikes and enjoyed exploring the village.

We have absolutely no complaints about our stay. Everyone we dealt with, including Modesto & Miss Janet, were friendly and happy to help. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Belize. This was truly PARADISE!!

This is the best place we stayed at in Belize. We stayed in the green cabana beachfront. The breezes were always blowing. Although they had air conditioning we never needed to use it. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The staff are friendly and helpful. The owner lives on site. We had absolutely no complaints about our stay except we wish we would have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Belize.

Absolutely! We will be happy to arrange it! One - four people from the Belize City Airport will cost USD $200 for the 2 1/2 hour drive. We are also happy to book your flight to Dangriga, and the shuttle would then only be USD $55 for the half hour drive to Hopkins.

Hi Ala, thanks for your inquiry! We will be building a restaurant/bar in the next few weeks, but currently there are about 7 restaurants within a two block radius, and many more within short walking distance. Also, please note that Palm Cove Cabins has now merged with Coconut Row (#1 on Trip Advisor) and we use the same website. Hope to see you soon!

We were going to be at Hopkins for a week, so we decided to rent a car for about the same cost as air or ground shuttles for the two of us. It worked out pretty well. We rented the "well-used" model from a local agency that had good reviews -AQ Belize. All went as advertised. Be aware that it can take awhile to get the car checked out, so plan that in your schedule. That has been my experience in Mexico as well. The roads were pretty good, with one BIG disclaimer. The road from Belmopan down to Hopkins is well paved, but narrow and NOT well marked with reflectors and stripes, and is mountainous in parts. Villagers may walk on the narrow shoulder. It is fine in the daytime, but at night is quite an adventure. I had planned to be there in daylight, but this is in the very eastern part of Central time zone, and it gets dark early. Just be aware and go slow if it is dark. I don't know how much time you save by taking air shuttle combined with cab ride.

Hi LondonSweetcheeks, Coconut Row has a travel agency office where they had lots of information about tours and transport. I am very sure they will be able to help you. We personally didn't have the time to travel out so we relaxed on the beach. I hope that helps and have a fab time there!!
