I feared I was going to "adult summer camp" with bunks and mediocre food. Boy, was I wrong! I have stayed in some of the nicest hotels in the world, and even though Hamanasi isn't the penthouse at the Ritz Carlton, it is on par with some of the most comfortable, cleanest, most charming resorts around. The staff was sincerely...

I guess that the best way for me to comment on the 10 days we spent at Hamanasi is to let you know that we are making plans to return there for at least 10 days again next year. (We haven’t done back to back repeat vacation spots since before our children were in High School some 18 years ago.)...

This review is long overdue. We traveled to Hamanasi a year ago this past July. Our stay was absolutely blissful. The service you receive as a guest is spectacular. The staff greets you by name and makes you feel like part of the family. We stayed in one of the beach front rooms and were fortunate enough to fall asleep...

We spent our honeymoon at Hamanasi and it was exactly what we wanted. We were looking for an "off the beaten path" location with activities and R&R. They had all of that and then some! We went diving, explored Mayan ruins, climbed up, down and around caves, swam in a natural spring, and also relaxed in hammocks on the beach....

The four of us enjoyed all the daily activities and excellent food at the resort. We paid for the extra outing to the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave which was well worth it. The river outing was not that interesting but we were a noisy group so whatever wild life there was surely was scared away long before we paddled by....

We spent our honeymoon at Hamansai and WOW it exceeded our expectations! The staff was friendly, they knew our names and engaged in conversation regularly. Because the resort is smaller you really get to know the other guests! The excursions varied and added to the experience -- we saw a sting ray snorkeling and really had a workout on the...

A great resort- small, clean and comfortable, very good food, excellent staff, and outstanding adventures. You might be tempted to dive everyday, but the inland adventures are not to be missed. Hike to a jungle waterfall, climb Mayan ruins, explore caves, zipline- it is all excellent. Every member of our family (including 3 older children) came home delighted. Thanks Hamanasi!

My husband and I recently stayed at Hamanasi for our 17th anniversary and we are so happy we did. We couldn't have asked for a better trip. The resort is so beautiful and so well maintained. We stayed in a treehouse and it was far more than I expected. They are so spacious and the privacy was really nice. August...

Although I had read a lot of glowing TripAdvisor reviews, I was still amazed at the level of genuine, authentic personal service at Hamanasi. From the minute you arrive, they know your name and work hard to make sure your stay is everything that you want it to be. The grounds are maintained impeccably, from the beach to the sidewalks....

My husband, friend and I spent 6 nights at Hamanasi at the end of July. We have traveled many places and the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was top notch and beat my expectations. We selected Hamanasi so that we could dive but the weather was too rough for us on a few days so they gladly substituted land...
