Always have a nice stay here when on weekends away from KL where I live. Rooms are a good size, clean and have views of the sea (albeit yes partly blocked by the trees but not a big issue.) Close to good hawker centre and Monkey Tree restaurant at the Spice Garden which I recommend. I'm not a fan of...

I have always wanted to stay in this boutique hotel, but always ended up staying in other hotels along Batu Ferringhi. So, I was really looking forward to the stay with high expectations and I wasn't disappointed. Rooms are very spacious and with high ceilings, and I like the jacuzzi in the balcony the most! Love the pool with beautiful...

This hotel is just lovely, very beautiful hotel with beautiful landscape and its just right by the beach. The hotel is restored from an old existing building. The room we stayed were spacious and comfortable. The bed are comfortable and the comes with all the basic amenities needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Its an average hotel. Shangrila Golden Sands is a much better choice. its beach is shabby and the pool is small and normal...nothing remarkable in it. The only good thing is the bath tub in balcony which is a new experience. Room are big but not properly planned so lot of space is wasted. Location is nice but next to...

Nice ambiance, resort is clean and well maintained. Good location, hawker centers, night market, small shops and eateries at the door step. Check in was good and fast with welcome drinks and towels. Bed was comfortable. Balcony was cool with a bathtub. We like the movable full length "Venetian blinds" for blocking the sunlight into the balcony or when one...

We make it a point to visit Penang at least 3 times a year to get away from KL. Our maiden stay at Lone Pine was for a 3 day 2 night breather. We were bowled over by the wonderful WOW immediately on arrival all the way till we checked out. Wet towels and a nice cold punch at the...

we had a two night stay at Lone PIne Hotel and was acutally a little disappointed that it lacked the wow factor. the rooms are large but the furniture was a little tired. the staff did what they had to do but lacked the extra mile attitude. the breakfast was the normal asian and western mix , enjoyable and fresh....

It’s been years since I stayed anywhere along Batu Ferringhi, so I thought since my friends had chosen to stay at the Lone Pine that I’d join them. After all, I had read such wonderful reviews and pictures of this place which got me all excited. The hotel is beautifully landscaped, and I particularly loved the melding of modern architecture...
