I stayed in the poolside room. Great view of the pool. The room looks small - I think because of the shape - but I found it quite spacious once I'd settled in. And all the needed amenities were available. Place was super clean. Area is quiet and safe - a couple of blocks away from the main road, so...

What can I say that has not been already been said! Apart from I totally disagree with anyone who could possibly give this wonderful place a low rating. So far we have only met David and his adorable dogs, David has gone the extra mile (or kilometre) to make our stay most comfortable and enjoyable, The dogs are excitable and...

The place is very nice and our room was lovely (there were flower petals on the bed and in the bathroom which was a really nice touch :-)) We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing I would recommend to add to the room is a two-pin plug and some anti-mosquito stuff. Additionally, there was a note on the fridge...

Nice clean Lodge with good room and everything what you need. The owner David is a character and very friendly. The location is in a silent street in Montagu. Breakfeast you have to take outside as not served. Restaurants are nearby.

A very friendly and helpful reception. This lodging is set amidst a lovely garden that includes a refreshing plunge pool and sun loungers. A lot of attention has been paid to detail. Our room was comfortable and we felt very welcome. The only drawback resulted from the current change-over from a B+B to a self-catering setup. Apart from a microwave...

David is a friendly chatty host. He has a beautifully furnished and maintained home. We had a small room, but everything looked spotless, was stylish, and worked efficiently. We enjoy having somewhere to relax outside. The pool is small, but has good sun beds. It was a shame that he has stopped serving breakfasts, as the dining room looked so...

Beautiful room, tastefully decorated, clean with gorgeous linen. Serviced daily, staff very discrete. In a quite safe area, unfortunately too far to walk to the restaurants. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

“It depends on what you plan to go there for.We choose BISHOPS ROOM which is close to the pool and is slightly bigger than Clifton(also close to the pool but has a better view of the beautiful paintings). The other two rooms are self catering and are therefore bigger but further from pool. If you not fussy, then any room is fine”

“try to stay in the room called "Hilton". It is huge and calm, unfortunately the wifi is quite slow there. I think in other rooms not that far from the reception the signal will be stronger.”
