From 5 to 1 stars: Location: 5 - exceptional Service: 3.5, at the restaurant great while poor at the bar Food: 4 Spa: 3 (too small for the hotel) Beach Club: 3.5 but with potential to be a 5 if it was managed better Overall a great place that I would feel to recommend to other couples for a weekend...

My wife and I (50 somethings) recently stayed a week at the Hotel Des Pecheurs. First, Cavallo Island is spectacular - a beautiful island with fantastic beaches and that amazing clear mediterranean water. You are primarily paying for the location - so don't set your expectations as if this should be an ultra luxurious hotel. The rooms and common areas...

Very exclusive place. Be prepared to spend a fortune for everything not included in your deal. Overall nice to be there. The maitre in the restaurant is an arrogant in every sense. So let him know the first time you encounter him, otherwise you will suffer. We enjoyed the stay. If you can afford, get a room with sea view,...

This place is amazing!!! Even in end of July it was still not very crowded. Hotel is expensive but it is well compensated with the half board plan. It is worth every penny. Will certainly come back and I truly recommend it. Service is something that can be improved , but the overall is very positive.

Cannot fault the location - what a beautiful island but as the only hotel on the island I personally felt there was little incentive for the hotel to live up to its 4 star standards. In a competitive market I am sure that there would be more added value. The staff on reception are amazing and were all incredibly helpful...

We stayed here for 4 days and sat by the sea with attentive staff and had lunch every day- delicious light lunches. For a more fulfilling one walk 30 yards back to the hotel. Gloroius clear blue water sea and white sand, warm eater, clean and lovely weather wth a light breeze most days. Delicious dinner every night followed by...

I had read the reviews before we booked our holiday and was hopeful that people may have just been a bit picky, they weren't. When you are spending north of £6k for a week (2 adults and one toddler), you expect a certain level of service. I'm not saying everything during our experience was bad, but we were definitely left...

The Cavallo Island is just a great location with white sand beaches, granite rocks and crystal clear water. Arriving by helicopter gives you the right perspective of this nice place. The hotel is originally designed and placed right on the seashore. You get great Italian food in the restaurant served by very friendly staff, though sometimes a bit slow. The...

I appreciated the view I got on the sea (not all rooms have it though) I mean on the sea actually and felt well in general on this magnificent little island, mainly due to friends that live there. This hotel is probably the only one on the island so just book ;) I can say that the personnel could be...
