Forget about Air Conditioning / TV and depending on the day, your cell phone and Wifi. This is the place to be. The boys gives their best to deliver an utmost service. The rooms are comfy and make you feel far away from your home's life, but definetely, we did enjoyed every bit of it. Food menu is a little...

I called to make reservation from Punta Cana, DR, using a local phone, however, once we arrived there and the manager realized that we were from the United States, the price that I received over the phone triple. They even charged for the excursion to "Los Haitises National Park" separately an extra $1,000 pesos/person (about $22 USD), when originally I...

I'll start out that saying the rooms here aren't bad. Not great, but acceptable. The lack of AC doesn't really become an issue since it never gets that hot in the rooms and the fan does a good job keeping things pleasant. Finding a working outlet can be tough, but at least in the various rooms I or the people...

Finally they answered my calls with the new quotation 230% more that the original price. U$S 219.... for the same 3 night...Hello!!! I think the same that Bill M: “EcoLodge Cano...

Confusing check-in, limited English, abysmal restaurant service, serious uphill walk to a room with no assistance, construction site noise during the day - percussion drill, circular saw, generator, cement mixer(?), and waterfalls continuously at night. What more could we ask for? OK, the room was decent, complete with a little balcony with a hammock. If you like limestone, you'll love...

We stayed in Los Altos Caño Hondo; this hotel has the most amazing view!!! The staff is very nice, rooms are clean and comfortable, food is good. The most important about this hotel is that you can experience nature's beauty, the natural pool is great (really cold) at night there's a campfire...everything was perfect! We definitely will return.

Although we sometimes had to wait somewhat too long for our food, we had an amazing time in Paraiso Caño Ondo. The architecture of the domain is great with the natural pool the architect managed to design out of the river passing by. Moreover, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and staff is very friendly

For some, the difference between Paraiso Caño Hondo and Altos de Caño Hondo can be confusing. However, the same owners own both properties. Yet, rather inexplicably, each is under separate management. Still, for rating purposes they are one in the same as they are very similar and sit adjacent to each other -- though Altos is up the hill and...
