We loved the Adelaide Royal Coach hotel, from the comfortable room (309) to the super friendly staff and lovely food.

Travelling with a baby can be challenging and it is so much easier when you stay at hotels like this which put you at ease (along with the Best Western in Hobart we stayed in).
The reception staff were so helpful firstly in pointing out suitable tourist attractions for us, being so attentive as to even put extra print outs in our room of things to do.
The restaurant staff were lovely too, we were made to feel so welcomed.

The hotel is only 15 mins walk to the CBD, quiet and rooms to a good proportion. Bed was comfortable and we got good nights sleep.

This hotel is bang on for value for money, I stayed in a family room due to needing space for bikes and other things. There was a large queen bed and two single beds. Room was clean but dated it has certainly been loved but at this price nothing to complain about.

The staffing here are amazing and so friendly which made the initial experience fantastic. There is a bar and restaurant for both breakfast (buffet) and dinner (specialize in steak) although I did not use these services I only heard good things about it.

Will consider staying here in the future. Thanks

I absolutely loved my stay with Royal Coach. To start with the service at Reception was amazing and super helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean, the pool looked great (although I didn’t go in as the kids didn’t look they wanted me to ruin their groove - but the option was there!) The restaurant was closed due to Covid but still there was a very affordable ( I think it was $10 ?!) room service for breakfast available if you needed which I thought was fantastic especially for workers and the kiddies! The parking was easy tho not secure except for cameras but since it’s in Adelaide I was just happy to not be on the road really! And the location sold it for me - I walked everywhere from
Norwood, to rundle st, to the zoo, to the botanic gardens and it was all within the 35 minute one way range! How good! Plus being so close to the city there were Ubers always close by today. I’ve definitely found me new Adelaide base for all occasions!

My initial allocated room was very dark and had no view of anything but a roof. Once upgraded to a superior room felt nicer but The bathroom is in desperate need of a renovation. The shower temperature was constantly changing and it took a long while until the hot water come through.
The sauna was a joke. After multiple requests made regarding temperature of the sauna and wandering why it automatically turns off, I tried to relay the message to hotel staff but I was told that no one else has ever complained about the temperature.
The pool area was really dark and felt a little unclean and uncomfortable, I think a pool area should have comfortable seating and a relaxation feel. This was not the case...
the restaurant and bar staff were very pleasant but I really did not like the breakfast buffet as it was basic and average ( paying extra for a coffee I think is unreasonable when you pay for breakfast ).

The room itself was clean with reasonable fittings and furnishings, however I identified the building's general noise level as problematic immediately upon arrival and the only other room that was offered was right next to the entrance to the hotel and car park so would have come with its own issues. I was advised that I had been upgraded, however was unhappy with the room I was allocated, and was not offered suitable alternative arrangements despite my offer to pay more. If this was an upgrade, I would not have liked to see what the original room was like. On my final morning, what sounded like hammering from maintenance commenced in the room next door at around 8am. Overall, the noise from various quarters, ranging from the sound of the building's air-conditioning system right outside my room to the thrum of some other mechanism within the heart of the building, to the hammering from routine maintenance prevented sleep and destroyed any peace that a hotel room can be expected to provide from the outside world. Disappointed.

We travelled to Adelaide from Queensland for the National Under 12's AFL championships. We chose Adelaide Royal Coach to stay as it is a 15 minute flat walk to Norwood Football Club (where a lot of games were played). The complex is very clean and tidy with the facilities in the room we stay in being of a good standard. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot with plenty of water pressure and the air-conditioner was very effective. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs but not open on weekends. There's also a heated indoor pool. Adelaide Royal Coach is located just a short Uber/Taxi ride into the city. Good value for money.

A good location and price with a good sized room, however in the bathroom, the shower had pink mould in it and the sink was heavily stained (although clean). There was a substantial wrinkle in the carpet in the middle of the room which we had to consciously walk around to avoid tripping. We were visiting family and so were out most of the time and did not tell the staff about the shower. The room was cleaned every day, but the shower still had mould in it throughout our stay.
The restaurant was closed on the Thursday when we arrived (due to a function) and the Saturday night.
Parking was adequate although there were many "reserved" cones within the car park. If this was to discourage locals from parking there, it would have been good to have been given the option to use one ourselves.
My son and I enjoyed the warm, clean pool, however I would have loved to also use the sauna. We were told that the sauna had been closed for a while.

We met up with friends to celebrate several Birthdays and they were very impressed with the location of the Hotel and with the quality of their room. We dined at the on site restaurant, Angas & Co and the food was great. The staff were friendly and helpful with ideas on where to go and what to see.

Loved that it was close to the city and had all that we needed to make our stay great. Was easy to walk to all facilities and the bed was extreemly comfortable. We have stayed there before and are pleased with the facilities. breakfast was also great and very reasonably priced as was the price for accomodation.

The Adelaide Royal Coach is in a great location for accessing city and surrounding events. The rooms are lovely, the staff fantastic.
The bed was comfortable and the room was large and inviting.
There is a bus stop 3 minutes walk from the Hotel that will take you to Norwood or the City if, like us, you cannot walk that far and do not want to drive.
