The local crab fricasse’ entered in my top ten list. Last one was the millefoglia di ragu in Orvietto couple years ago. Pousada Do Vale is a gorgeous, tranquil, lovely place - built harmoniously in gardens and natural setting with flowers, fruit trees, birds. My very comfortable room had a balcony with a hammock for lounging. The Pousada has a refreshing pool surrounded by tropical plants. The restaurant is fantastic! From the abundant breakfast buffet with tropical fruits and local Brazilian specialties to the delicious dinner choices, the food was great, especially the special fish buffet festival one night featuring local catch on a grill. Best of all were the Pousada staff. Fernanda was very helpful in setting up my island and boats tours, answering all questions, making suggestions for enjoying the island. Marcus, Victor and Alessio were friendly, cheerful dining room staff who even let me practice my rudimentary Portuguese with them. The moment you step in and notice the garden / place / details you can relax. Very friendly and professional place. The reception took easily care of all need (snorkelling equipment, booking of diving, tour checking,..). The room (standard) was a bit smaller than expected, but clean, changed towels every 2 days, friendly decorated. But as long as it does not rain,.. why stay in the room ;-) The pool is very nice, and served by the restaurant. Organic ingredients planted in the garden. Exceptional service level at the restaurant compared to other places on the island. Really enjoyed. Strong recommendation!

I booked a 9 day stay a year in advance at PdV to propose to my better half (who is Brazilian). I definitely wanted to do this on Noronha, and was impressed by the reviews I read about PdV. Boy they did not disappoint! The staff members were very helpful, friendly, and responsive. The pool is beautiful, particularly because of its view on their amazing garden. The rooms are very clean, their breakfast (cafe de manha) delicious, and their restaurant overall very good. They have a nice afternoon tea, and a nice dinner with fresh fish that they catch themselves on Thursdays. They also really helped getting together the proposal (which happened on their boat) and afterwards they decorated the room. All in all a really great experience and we will certainly come back.

Great pousada best service amazing team working to make our stay the best!! they go out of their way to please the customer! best price/quality in the island amazing location right at the heart of the village and next to baia do medio which is one of the best beaches in the island. Breakfast is excellent all the food is homemade the cooks are a team of amazing women who make the best homemade cakes! do not hesitate to book there!!

Recife is usually the best gateway to Fernando de Noronha because has 3 daily flights with departures between mid day and 14:00 PM. From Natal have just 1 daily flight, and the departure is around 11 AM. So to have a safe connection you should arrive in Recife or Natal 2 hs before these flights time (early morning). For flights availability and times consult website of GOL or AZUL, just these 2 co. have flights to the island.
