This small hotel is across the street from the cathedral, and with-in easy walking distance from the town square and the Mayan Structure. Built into the side of a hill, the views from the roof top patio & restaurant are very nice. The breakfast was quite good, and I recommend it.

This is a charming, well run hotel in a beautiful town. I was very impressed with the staff, the room, the breakfast and local. And the price was a real bargain. I would highly recommend it for anyone staying in the area.

We found this hostel by luck and were really happy with everything. The prices are really low for what you get: big rooms and beds, a great view over the Izamal church, a pool in the back and tasty breakfast. absolutely no complains, super nice service also.

We spent only one night (alas) in this jewel of a hotel in January because I thought, incorrectly, that additional time in Merida would be more interesting. We loved this place. The room was large and super clean, wifi worked well, the staff was very helpful (though little English), and the location is perfect for exploring the historic center of...

We spent a night at this hotel and loved it. First of all, I highly recommend a visit to Izamal. The town takes good care of the historical area and even the streets and sidewalks are clean and have been recently resurfaced. The hotel was super clean and the staff was helpful and ready with a smile. Purified water was...

Our Archeological tour, 20 people filled the hotel completely. The steps to the second floor were uneven, but How can they not be, it is old. Clean, staff helpful, good breakfast. We toured the Church after breakfast, it has Big Buttresses, and an upper and lower promenade, I guess was used by the Nuns. Pope JohnPaul 23rd visited this church,...

Very quaint hotel behind the convent in Izamal. No water provided and no vending. Super easy to get to from the bus. Just a short stroll to this haven. Roof top area is perfect. The water pressure is low and you may experience clogged toilets. We did. Well worth the money spent.. recommend a stay.

This is a very nice hotel for its price category. The location is perfect, the staff friendly and helpful, the pool and garden areas very pleasant, and everything is spotless. They offer a breakfast on their terrace, but pay in pesos, as the dollar rates are roughly double! The staff arranged to have out laundry washed and folded for a...

We just went to Izamal for a 1 day visit on our way to Merida and chose the hotel Rinconada Del Convento. It is a lovely place with a nice garden and pool. As the weather was really hot, we spent some relaxing time refreshing in the pool.
