My friend and I stayed in one of the bungalows for six nights. We were very happy with the accommodations, price and food and cleaning service but found the service at reception could have been better. Reception made us feel like we were inconveniencing them whenever we asked for something and gave us misinformation about the area.

We travelled with our two Kids (4y, 7y) for over five weeks through Yucatan. In February, we stayed at the Ida y Vuelta for two weeks. It was an absolutely amazing experience! Eating these delicious Omeletas with Salsa de Habanero in the shade of the Palm Trees for Breakfast....es el Paraiso! Sasha and David and the whole Staff were very...

It is a shame that such a beautiful place has such a bad service. My boyfriend and me arrived late at night due to a 4 hour drive and eventhough that in the page says that the reception it's open 24 hours, there was NO ONE around to give us our room. After 20 minutes of wandering around, we finally...

We had only planned to spend 4 nights at Ida y Vuelta and ended up staying for 7! We stayed in one of the thatched roof huts, it was great! Rustic yet comfortable and reasonably priced. We enjoyed lounging in our hammock and listening to the sounds of the Island. Everyone who works there were very friendly and approachable. We...

Grounds were clean & beautiful. So many plants & flowers to enjoy. Breakfast was yummy & perfect with such friendly service. Started every day of our trip out perfectly. Our cabana was a perfect size & cleaned every morning with fresh towels. We will return to this hostel without a doubt and are looking forward to it!

The mosquitos are fierce here, but if you can survive them, this hostel is a great place to stay. It's a beautifully constructed group of buildings just a block from the beach. Everything is made of natural materials and concrete. The paintings are fantastic! I believe the owner's wife painted them. There are lots of hammocks and a place for...

We keep coming back to Holbox always staying at this spot - it offers high level of privacy and gives us the eco - feeling! We always choose on of the cabañas and we get the soundest sleep. Never tried tenting or hammocking at the spot, but guess would be quite uncomforttable. It is always a good value for the...

Great location near the beach, we stayed in a casita with two beds, kitchenette and 2 hammocks. Amazing service by owners and super clean. We'll be back! It's next to a mangrove so expect some mangroovy smell at times.

Stayed here in a hammock for 2 nights, the first hammock I was allocated was under a little bit of tree and as it had been raining the night before I requested to move to a hammock which was under a shelter that was all fine, however on my first night everyone who seemed to be in dorms congregated to...

I am rarely unsatisfied by a service but this time I was really disappointed. We arrived very early in the morning and asked a staff member if he was the owner of the place to checkin. He was really rude and, I quote said "It doesn't matter who I am, the reception is closed for now." (he was the owner)....
