Firstly, Julio and Lupe were amazing as was the rest of the staff. Other notable things: - ideal location - grounds were manicured each day and a lovely added value benefit was the mini jungle & river directly in front of the main building...birds chirping in the morning with our morning coffee, pan y frutas was memorable. The natural juxtaposition...

From the second I arrived at Casa Takywara I knew I had made the right hotel choice in Holbox. The accommodations are wonderful and the location is the best on the island. The hotel is directly on the beach and has the best beachfront property in my opinion. The breakfast that is served daily is an added bonus and the...

I loved staying at Takywara. I was there for 4 nights. Hotel, rooms and kitchen are nicely decorated and equipped with everything you could wish for. Julio and Lupe are lovely guys running this small and cozy hotel. They're always there if you need anything, always up for a nice chat and are caring a lot for their guests, giving...

We stayed there for 3 days. It's located a 5 min walk from the town centre which is fine if you're mobile. Very small hotel (5 rooms) very quiet. Breakfast was dropped off at our room every morning which was lovely. Room was spacious, air con was good. Nothing to complain about. The beach outside was very quiet but a...

spent a whole week, quiet, relaxing, beautiful rooms, fresh bread and fruit in the morning, just the place to recharge your batteries. The property is on the west end of the island so you have the gorgeous sunsets right in front of your door. Short walk to town, recommend Kayak tour with Meno and his son Axel. Mosquito repellent is...

Beach was so beautiful, few people. Lounge chairs were kept clean and organized, sand swept daily. Room was kept spotless. Short walk to town for dinners. Breakfast provided. Reception staff was very helpful, providing information. Wifi available only near office.....some mosquitoes and no-see-ums there as close to wet land.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Luna bungalow (for Honeymooners). The bungalow itself was awesome, with great space and literally in front of the beach. The view was also fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special mention for Julio and Luper. The downside: a bit away from downtown and heavily infested by mosquitoes. My wife was heavily...

For our fall break we wanted to take a last tropical vacation with our girls since we will be leaving Mexico end of the year. After a round tour in Merida we arrived very tired to Holbox and to casa Takywara. Since our first room was kind of small we were lucky to move to a bigger room the second...

This was our second year in a row staying a Casa Takywara and it was just as beautiful and peaceful as last year. It is a short walk along the beach to town yet seems like a world away. We have explored the island quite a bit over the last few years and in my opinion this stretch of beach...

First off my GF and I never got to stay at Takywara but we had the privilege of the same manager and motel clerk. I spent some time here to surf the net and have a couple cervical from this Casa. Also was permitted to use loungers an showers as a guest of Casa Luz next door. Why im writing...
