We have been on Holbox many times and Villa Flamingos is a wonderful place to stay. Many improvements have been made and it is a quiet oasis on the beach with all the amenities. We first stayed at Flamingos 11 years ago so we've seen the improvements over time. The rooms are nice, the gardens and surroundings are beautiful and... More

Stayed at villas flamingos for 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. The gardens and surroundings are quiet, peaceful and very well maintained. Do not expect many tourists and entertainment but if searching for a place to relax, this is it. Breakfast was made as you wish, the pool is nice, warm and clean and the staff... More

Pros: Loved the individual palapa rooms. Beach location was great. Short walk to quaint town. Cons: front desk staff was slow. Breakfasts were plain / repetative. Bar was often out of rum and mint (mojitos)

We spent 3 days in the hotel. We arrived in Cancun and we took the wrong way and missed the last ferry. We called the hotel and they arranged a boat to pick us up. Next day we went for the whale shark tour the hotel arranged for us. The boat picked us up at the beach of the hotel.... More

We stayed at Flaming Villas for the Labor Day weekend. Our overall experience was very nice, the staff is very personable and friendly always willing to make our stay a pleasure, The hotel rooms are very comfotable and spacious and the food at the restaurant Los Mangles is delicious. I like this location because all rooms are ocean front. We... More

This was our 5th vacation at Villas Famingos, and it continues to get better. The island continues to grow in amenities without changing the charm of a small village. Villas Flamingos has kept its status as a eco-resort while adding hot tubs, second floor lounging areas, and wonderful views to each cabana. Air conditioning was also added, although with the... Came to stay here for a few nights in June after a wonderful stay in Cancun. Needed another vacation just to recover from the first!! Lol!!! But we both found it too quiet and a bit on the boring side.... sorry!!! not a thing happening around the hotel or in the hotel except sunbathing.

The stay was really nice and so are the staff, in the end, I was sorry to leave. Upon arriving I found myself in a valley of smiles from the very first persons I met. The room was clean and quiet, and the commune area were extremely comfortable with plenty of hammock, chairs, bed etc. You can either enjoy the... More

My husband and I enjoyed this resort in mid July. We were glad to find out that we were automatically upgraded to a bungalow. After reading many reviews, we were surprised to arrive and find out that the toilet in our bungalow did not flush. It was like an outhouse, inside. I did not know that this is what they... More

This hotel is very hit and miss. It looks good in the photos and has good views but when you are actually there you discover that there is a distinct lack of professionalism and lack of finishing touches. It´s as though someone started redecorating the hotel and then gave up before finishing. The staff are not experienced and kinda set... More
