Malcolm and Carrie put a great deal of effort into making a fantastic experience for their guests. Everything from the delicious breakfasts to the comfort and cleanliness of our room was top notch. To top it of the rural setting is gorgeous. Carrie made us feel extremely welcome. It was a pleasure to stay at Briarcliffe.

Carrie and Malcom made us feel so comfortable that we felt their home was our home.Fantastic breakfasts and super clean and comfortable room. Loved the sitting room and wifi for relaxation after touring PEI each day. The location in the countryside offered a peaceful setting and loved sitting on the porch just watching the views. We highly recommend staying here! There...

Although it has been a month ago I wanted to recommend this B&B. Carrie and Malcolm made us feel so warm and welcomed on our trip to PEI in June. Despite the rain and cooler temperatures we so enjoyed their hospitality, fabulous breakfasts, and found their recommendations with regard to restaurants and touring to be spot on! The setting was...

We had a wonderful time celebrating our five year anniversary, and Briarcliff was a great start to our trip. They were very accommodating and provided a very lovely breakfast both days we stayed there. We stayed in the Anderson room, which provided a cross breeze on the cooler evenings and a lovely view of the sunset. We enjoyed local PEI...

Wonderful hosts, great breakfasts, wonderful setting. Carrie and Malcolm were very helpful and great at giving advice on where to eat and visit on the island. Great value for money. Have no trouble recommending this to anyone visiting PIE. The breakfasts are a highlight and enough to keep you going until late in the day.

Briarcliffe Inn is surrounded by beautiful fields and landscaping, with plentiful lounge chairs on which to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Had lots of fun helping the owners Carrie and Malcolm feed the pigs! Also had a nice walk down to the beach around sunset. The inside of the inn has a quaint historical feel to it, and is thoughtfully furnished...

My husband and I decided that we would get married while visiting PEI this summer. After considering all of the wonderful options PEI has to offer we decided on a simple ceremony at the Briarcliffe Inn. Carrie and Malcom did everything they could to make our day special including being our witnesses. They are such a lovely couple, and it...

Our stay at "The Briarcliffe Inn" was surreal from the moment we booked with our hosts Carrie and Malcolm. My husband and I traveled with a dear friend from Germany, and imagine our amazement when an email arrived from our hosts offering us a delightful complementary room for our guest! Our entire stay was followed by one surprise after another...

We decided to stay at the Briarcliffe Inn during our first stay in PEI. The house is nestled at the end of a country road and peaceful. It was our first time staying at a B&B which we were a little nervous about, however Carrie and Malcom quickly got rid of those feelings. They made our stay feel as though...

I recently spent three nights at Briarcliffe Inn. This was a solo trip. If you look at the Inn's website you will see that they clearly state that it's located in a rural area. Rest assured, that it's still within easy access to just about everything in PEI. After a busy day of exploring the island you will welcome returning...

Things to do in the area: take a short 5 minute walk to Salutation Cove to explore the tide pools or go for a swim; picnic at the historic Seacow Head Lighthouse; help feed our delightful free-range pigs; sample island jams & honeys and teas at breakfast; watch the magnificent Maritime sunsets from our deck; visit the Lower Bedeque Schoolhouse where Lucy Maud Montgomery taught or the Central Bedeque Museum.
