I’ve just returned home from an annual conference which has been held at Wilderness Edge for several years. Once again the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and efficient. How pleasant it was to sit in a conference room over-looking the Winnipeg River and watch deer grazing just outside the window while a person was being fed...

Our church held the summer retreat at Wilderness Edge for two days in June. We had wonderful time and good experience there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rate is reasonable and the food is good and plentiful. We also enjoyed the outdoor activities - rafting and body surfing, etc. with their help by providing transportation and travel guide.

Wilderness Edge Retreat was ideally suited to the needs of our group for a 3-day field trip in the Bird River greenstone belt. We were 26 geologists from Canada and elsewhere, including Finland, South Africa and the UK. The comprehensive on-line registration system is very well set up; it was easy to use and simplified adjustments by affording subsequent updating....

Our family recently gathered from all over Canada and Europe to mourn the loss of our father and grandfather who resided many years with his wife in Pinawa. It was our father's dream to retire near a lake in the beauty of God's creation. He was granted this wish and found himself active in the town that he truly loved....

We stayed at Wilderness Edge in January to attend our brother's funeral. The hospitality we received was second to none. Even when extra family appeared for supper, they were welcomed to join the table. The staff was friendly, conversational, very helpful and accommodating. They provided space for extended family to share a light lunch, a place to visit, to mourn...

Had a great weekend getaway at the Wilderness Edge. The room was very clean and quiet. The food was also great, especially the breakfast buffet! Staff were very friendly and even remembered us from last year! Really enjoyed having the sauna and outdoor hot tub all to ourselves. The best part of the experience being surrounded by beautiful wilderness. The...

Thank you staff at Wilderness Edge for a wonderful weekend hosting our family gathering. The extra care your cooks took with two of our girls with allergies was amazing. Our meeting room was nice and cozy, and Kevin and Pat were amazing hosts. Meals and night snack was perfect. We saw an owl along the trail during a walk along...
