Our family reunion (nearly 50 people of all ages) met at Wilderness Edge this summer. We very much enjoyed the hiking and access to the river for water activities, as well as watching deer and birds. The rooms are clean, but desperately need to be updated. The bathroom had missing or broken pieces, and needs to be maintained to a...

My husband and I needed a place to stay during a recent motorcycle rally and found this hidden gem online. Rooms are dated but clean and everything was in good working order. Meals are all buffet style with snacks and drinks available between meals. Arrived after the evening meal was over and the owner graciously set out food for us....

This former AECL residents has been converted to a hotel. It was clean and neat, the building itself needs some repairs. We enjoyed our stay here and staff were accommodating. The Edge has bikes, and rafts for use by guests. It is located on the Winnipeg River. Great biking, walking trails. Outdoor hot tub for guest use, beautiful on a starry night....

We held our family reunion at Wilderness Edge this summer and were a little disappointed with the lodge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but the lodge needs a lot of improvement. We held a previous reunion here and were looking forward to a similar enjoyable experience. The grounds were excellent for outdoor games and the staff was very...

It is the only place to stay in Pinawa and caters to large groups and retreats. In fact, if you're not part of a larger group, you cannot book a room more than 30 days in advance. It has very limited services however, it is clean. Apparently, it is old housing quarters when Pinawa was a federal nuclear research centre....

Thanks Sandy for your review. From a solo traveler's perceptive I think this review is quite accurate. We are not a hotel and do not fit well into that category. As a retreat and conference centre everything about our facility is geared around group activities for small and large groups. Rafting, hayrides, canoes, body surfing, sand volleyball ... are all...

Our family enjoyed every minuit of our stay. It was very accomodating, lots of events to do(eg. fishing, biking, walking, going to the pool, rafting, hiking etc.). Very relaxed athmosphere. Thank you for your hospitality and friendly athmosphere. Very accomadating. I have recomended it to many. Judith Mohammed

Can't say enough good things about the staff and facilities! The food was outstanding, and accommodated the special dietary requests. Meeting space and facilities were exactly what we needed. The beautiful weather added to the relaxing experience. Watching deer wander across the lawn reminded us that we were in a very special location! Our event was held Wednesday to Friday....

The hospitality that your center gave was incredible and I wanted to thank you for that! We were given an absolutely gorgeous room which I really appreciated as I was entertaining my infant son the majority of the time while my husband was at a conference. The room was way more than I expected we would be staying in. I...

A big thanks to Wilderness Edge for an awesome retreat. The staff was friendly, and the activities were particularly amazing. Lazy River Run is always a nice fun time, and the natural waterslide/body surfing was truly epic. Great bonding time for our group! This is a beautiful spot to be, the food was great, and I would highly recommend staying...

Thanks to Kevin and his friendly staff for making our wilderness adventure awesome! We took our 3 kids on a biking, hiking and canoeing adventure and wilderness edge was the perfect home base for our 2 day trip. There was lots to see and do in the area and the scenery is breath taking. The kids were begging to stay...
