We were in Vinales for a week of climbing and I'm beyond happy with our accommodations. We were staying in the newly built room, it was very comfortable, large bathroom with great showers, large beds, AC, fridge full of beer and spring water. Breakfast included eggs, pancakes, fruit salad, fresh squeezed juice and more; was served promptly, just in time....

Oscar is extremly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious (taste the BBQ) and always too much. The rooms are big and clean, each room had AirCondition and a seperate bath room. By now he is building more rooms and a nice Terrazza. Definetly one of the best casa we had in Cuba!

We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Oscar, especially breakfast was really good. Our hosts were really helpful and funny, though it is good to know some Spanish. Cuba's summer was little too hot for climbing even for early birds ;)

I was staying with Oscar and his family for 3 nights and I have never felt so comfortable in a Casa Particular here in Cuba. Oscar can help you out with everything you might need in Viñales. You want to go climbing? Ask Oscar! You want to go horse back riding? Ask Oscar! You want to rent bikes? Ask Oscar!...

My friend and I did a roadtrip through Cuba and during our stay in Pinar del Rio we stayed in Casa Oscar. After some research on the internet we booked a room on the groundfloor with a balcony in this Casa particular. We stayed here for 2 overnight stays and we loved every minute of it. Oscar helped us with...

I happened to stumble upon the Casa de Oscar and was lucky enough that they had a room for me. The breakfast is fantastic, the price is just right and Oscar and his beautiful family are so welcoming and kind. If you want to do any outdoor activities, they are the best organizers with the best prices. By the time...

We stayed her for 2 nights and were thoroughly welcomed into Casa Oscar. Oscar cooked us a delcious lunch which he made a small charge for and we were invited to join his entire family for a Mothering Sunday celebration as well. Casa Oscar is an awesome spot to stay while in Vinales. The inside of the casa is a courtyard where independent suites face in. There are picnic tables to eat ate, rocking chairs to sit at, and a patio at the top to read on and take in the view. It felt very safe and very protected - the perfect...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
One Casa Particular in Viñales is exceptional. The house, amenities, and particularly the food are excellent, but, once again, it is the family of Oscar Jaime Rodriguez and Leyda Robaina Arteaga that become your hosts, friends, and protectors. The Jaimes and Robainas families envelope you you with love and joy. The compound of several houses include grandparents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. There are so many familly members that one must set aside time for daily Cuban ritual of shaking hands with each man and kissing all women and girls. ... more   less
