Stayed two nights in the upstairs twin room facing over the harbour. The views were wonderful. Alison and Donald were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Learnt not to believe everything my sat nav told me. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed including wifi. Excellent breakfast and all round value for money. Beautifully situated...

Stayed two nights in the upstairs Twin in early July and thoroughly enjoyed our time with hosts Alison and Donald. They were generous, helpful, delightful and full of interesting stories from their own travel experiences. Location was great (a few minute’s stroll from town centre) and the breakfast was delicious - we really appreciated having the option to try some...

Well appointed B&B in wonderfully quiet location offering excellent tasty full breakfast. Room two is a spacious twin room with brilliant views over the loch. Parking at rear, although this is not an issue on such a quiet road. Some might miss the lack of TVs in rooms but for those who cannot live without them there is one in...

While the bathroom was very small the beds are comfortable and the breakfast were very well cooked. The landlady and her husband were very helpful and have good knowledge of the area. We enjoyed our few days and I think if we're ever to return we would use this B&B again. I guess the only down side was the small...

Just one night here but we were warmly greeted and the owners are warm and friendly hosts. The house is a lovely and interesting old house with a beautiful view over the bay. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Our two dogs were warmly welcomed. In summary we would happily stay again if in that area.

I booked two nights stay at Springside to attend a birthday party in Tarbert. The B&B was excellently located 2 minutes walk outside the main harbour, with stunning views across the harbour. When I arrived the room were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. High quality beds, modern en-suite bathrooms and a first class breakfast in the morning. Owners Alison and...

We stayed at Springside on 1st June as our ferry back to Islay was cancelled. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were immaculately presented with en suite bathrooms. Very homely and a lovely guest lounge downstairs. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. Will stay at again.

Springside is a characterful and comfortable B&B which is run by welcoming hosts. Our en-suite room had nice harbour views and comfortable beds. Wi-Fi is available. Breakfast was especially impressive.

Cycling between five ferries deserves a good breakfast, especially with some rain and wind about. Thank you.

We just had one night here on our way further down the Kintyre Peninsula. It was lovely. The owners were warm and welcoming without being too pushy, our room was bright and comfortable with a fabulous view over Tarbert Harbour and the breakfast was delicious. What more could we ask for?
