I have stayed at most hotels and guest houses in Port Erin and this beats the lot. Lovely hosts, beautiful building & gardens, great breakfasts and comfy rooms with fabulous views. There are none better in Port Erin.

We hardly ever go back anywhere, so this being our sixth visit to Rowany Cottier tells you all you need to know. Heather and John run a first class guest house in a super position with great views over Bradda Head and the bay. Spacious purpose built en-suite rooms, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfasts.

Reading the visitor book for Rowany Cottier we soon realised that all the superlatives and terms of praise had been used and we could think of nothing better than to agree wholeheartedly with all of them and to add that our whole experience of Rowany Cottier had been "the icing on the cake of a wonderful holiday". Our welcome had...

This bed and breakfast has several large, spotlessly clean ensuite bedrooms, the two front ones have magnificent views over Port Erin Bay towards The Calf of Man past cliffs with a breeding gull colony and the strong possibility of seeing gannets diving. The beds are very comfortable and the hostess tray is always appreciated with its nice biscuits. There is...

It was our first trip to the Isle of Man and both B&B and location did not disappoint! We were warmly meet by Heather on our arrival and having picked the sea view bedroom we soon knew it was an excellent choice. The views over the bay are spectacular. We stayed 4 nights (wished we had booked more), the room...

My partner and I stayed to nights in the sea view double and the view was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast quality really good too. A good find and we'd certainly stay again. Parking easy as well. Minor quibble is the patchy Wi-Fi but Heather is aware and sorting it out.

We stayed 4 nights together with friends in this guesthouse in mid-August. It is very clean and tidy and the breakfasts were excellent - full English: kippers or smoked haddock. It is easy walking distance to the town and beach (although uphill on the way back!). It's quiet - so you can sleep without any disturbance. Heather was very friendly...

At first sight the B & B looked to be in very good condition with a wonderful aspect overlooking Port Erin Bay. It is close to the town, a short walk to the beach, excellent for walkers, a golf club nearby and many attractions such as a station in the town and steam train; you are only a taxi or...
