Well what can I say apart from a beautiful quirky quaint hotel and the owners Richard and Sam were wonderful and the food was excellent the most I have eaten in 2 months. We were going to come back after 1 night but my daughter loved room 1 so much she had to stay another night but all rooms were...

Stayed here for 2 nights while on business in the area. Booking web sites give the impression that this is a full service hotel with reception / bar etc - it isn't, knock at the cottage for access and the bar is not open until 7 PM, with dinner. Dinner and breakfast are both very good, limited menu for dinner...

We arrived early 4pm to find nobody there, rang all door bells and no answer. We had to phone somebody to pick the keys up from a hole in the wall. The bedroom has a shower in the bedroom with no place to hang any bodywash or shampoo up, once showered you have to walk across the bedroom to get...

Thank you for your review, It is unfortunate when people don't enjoy their stay with us. We are sorry that you did not like your room, many of our regular guests choose it as their favourite. We have an early check in system in case people arrive whilst we are not there which tends to work very well. As people...

We stayed for two nights due to a family bereavement in the area. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The owners were friendly and welcoming without being intrusive and the breakfast was delicious. We are already booking to go back for the actual funeral and have recommended it to other family members who need...

We stayed there in June 2016 for two nights, the accommodation is lovely. The hotel is an old building with lots of lovely and quaint features. The breakfast was very good, and the owners very pleasant and hospitable, the beds were very comfortable! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I've been staying at the Mansion House Hotel as it is close to one of my training schools for a while, and haven't found a single fault with the place. The inside of the hotel is beautifully decorated, with personality and care (the bar is made of books!), and the couple who run the place have been so friendly and...

I often travel with my job and increasingly dislike the large chain hotels. This is the exact opposite to all those soulless hotels. The entire set up is very informal and the owners friendly and helpful. The communal parts are interestingly furnished with lots of character and it is easy to imagine that you are simply staying with friends. Dinner...

We stayed one night as we were attending a family party. Only us and my brother's family in the hotel. Lovely room and very good breakfast. The owners were very friendly. We will all definitely stay again

Stayed one night. Dreadful. Saw no one, yes no one, not at check in, check out or any point in between. Would have liked to change room, ours had the shower in the bedroom! Would have liked breakfast, couldn't ask as there wasn't anyone about. Never stayed anywhere that ignores its guests quite so badly. Had to get a key...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. The shower in the bedroom is a shower in an alcove on one side of the fireplace so as not to destroy the the character of the room. Unfortunately we had to pop out to walk our dogs at the time you arrived. We did...

We spent a very pleasant night at the Mansion House Hotel in Holbeach and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending to others. The room we were allocated was on the very top floor of the hotel; however, we thought it was really cosy and perfectly comfortable. We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the bedding: the sheets smelt...
