Coming from Kington for a quiet meal with friends. A lovely atmosphere and superb food, lovely landlord & landlady. We will definitely be back and will recommend the Rhydspence Inn to all our friends.

Had a super family lunch last Saturday. The Inn was warm and welcoming and was so quirky - a really interesting place to look around. There was an extensive menu and we were all pleased with our choices. I hope to go again when we are in the area. Hot Mackerel starter, lamb shank really good. Staff very friendly.

We live within 20 mins drive away and are so pleased the Rhydspence Inn has re-opened. We had a lovely meal there last night and couldn't fault the food. A range of choice, beautifully cooked and served quickly. If you have room for a dessert the chocolate truffle torte is amazing. The atmosphere is a lovely country inn with log...

Fortunately for us we live within five miles of this delightful pub and the drive from Hay-on-wye is worth it to sample the well presented food. We have enjoyed several Sunday Lunches recently that are just perfection in a friendly vibrant atmosphere. The evening meals are again just what people want. Home made pies, succulent steaks and fresh fish with...

We had lunch here whilst visiting the area and it was both plentiful and delicious. The staff were friendly and courteous and there was a big open fire and plenty of talking points in the quaint old building. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a short get away and were surprised at how friendly you all were - not only did Reece and Rhianna (standing in for Mum and Dad who were away on holiday) make us feel welcome but the regulars in the bar each evening did there best to include us! We shall be back to taste the 'home...

We were staying close by and just spotted the pub from the road. We had a lovely lunch (scampi, pie, sarnies etc) and the children played happily in the pub garden for ages. Friendly landlord. Very reasonably priced too.

We went to the Rhydspence last Sunday for a traditional lunch with some friends and what an excellent experience it was all round. There were four of us so we each chose a different roast meat - pork, beef and lamb and my husband had Sea Bass. The meat was perfectly cooked as were the vegetables and yorkshires, crackling etc...
