Room excellent. Food excellent. Service excellent. Quite frankly we couldn't fault it. We originally booked for one night as we were going to a wedding nearby. Extended our stay for a further two. Quite frankly we couldn't fault it. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful. The breakfast was nicely presented and of a high standard. Dinner was really...

Visited the crown with my partner for my birthday last September and had a lovely evening, with superb food, attentive staff and very good wine. The building is beautiful, and parking aplenty, plus it is situated in the lovely village of Bildeston. I imagine sitting out in the courtyard on a summers evening with a glass of white a delight....

Went to the Crown with our family on Friday evening. We enjoyed excellent service from all the staff during the course of the night. We all had three courses followed by coffee, desert wines and cocktails! All courses were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I had lobster salad, our daughters had scallops and son in laws the quail. For main...

A really lovely hotel. The hotel is an old Coachhouse and has been carefully restored as a modern hotel, without losing any of its charm. The chef is truly a genius but the prices for meals are still reasonable. The staff are all friendly and happy to help in any way they can. Overall, a very good hotel and at...

We spent two nights at The Bildeston Crown over the Easter Weekend. The experience was great from the start. The premises is lovely, and has been tastefully renovated and decorated. The staff are wonderful and could not be more helpful, and both Dinner and Breakfast were amazing. We had booked room 10 which was well appointed and very comfortable. We...

I came here with my husband, son and his girlfriend just over a week ago - we were celebrating 10 years of our business. It really is a lovely pub, nice decor and we were shown to the bar where we enjoyed a pre-meal drink. A nice touch were the very moreish sausage roll bar snacks. My son and his...

The Bildeston Crown is back to what it was. Hayley offers superb front of house service and Chris is a complete maestro in the kitchen. The lunch menu on Sunday was fabulous. Locally sourced meats and incredible dishes all with brilliant service and a lovely ambiance. We cannot wait to return and next time we will stay - the breakfast...

My son took me here for lunch where I do eat quite regularly. We were served nibbles & drinks outside as it was such a lovely warm day. We were asked to our table by a delightful happy waitress which is always a bonus! The menu was fabulous & we wanted a bit of everything! We had a starter &...

My wife and I and two visiting American friends recently spent a night at the Crown Inn, Bildeston. We wanted to show our friends, who've been to England many times before, a little of East Anglia as they had only ever been as far east as Cambridge. The Crown do a special on Sunday nights which is effectively bed, breakfast...
