We stayed here overnight and were warmly welcomed by the owner on our arrival. The room was very clean, bright and comfortable and had everything we needed. It's an easy, pleasant walk into town from the hotel and to the seafront. Breakfast was very good and we would have no hesitation staying here again.

This is a great hotel run by Mr & Mrs Drake who greet you upon arrival and show you around. My room was a ground floor single with garden view and a large bathroom with large walk-in shower. There is a TV lounge and a conservatory which over looks a lovely garden, plus a small bar if an evening drink...

We stayed two nights at this charming hotel whilst visiting family in Colaton Raleigh. The hotel is light, bright and comfortable. Breakfast is served in a garden room which has great views of the garden. An excellent breakfast menu with plenty of choices. The conservatory is a great place to sit, relax and read the papers. Our room was spotlessly...

We stayed here for a weekend at the beginning of this month, specifically because they had a wheelchair accessible room for my husband. It was easily the best 'disabled room' we have stayed in to date, especially the bathroom which had all the grab rails, high level loo, wet-room shower, etc that we could possibly want. The owners, Brian and...

Thanks for a lovely 3 night break. Friendly hotel, providing spotlessly clean accommodation. Nice breakfast, cooked to order, and served in a very pleasant dining room. Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

Brian and Lorraine were there for us from the moment we arrived. Saw us settled in and made most welcome. Food was first class and rooms were spotlessly clean. Of course we would go again if opportunity arose.

The hotel is a 1930's style building much modernised , set in a quiet residential area just outside the town. There is space for 6/7 cars at the front off-road parking area ( there is on-road parking space too) and a huge lawned garden at the rear. We had a twin room on the roadside which was extremely quiet and...

You are assured of a warm welcome at this quiet, comfortable hotel, comprising just nine rooms. Everything was spotless and facilities were good. Although the hotel does not offer evening meals or a room service, a small well-stocked bar can be opened in the evenings. We thought other guests might have used the opportunity to have a drink on the...

Clean, tidy and brian was an attentive host who could not do enough to help in any respect . Breakfast was good and overall would recommend to anyone. Resort was a lot quieter than we thought but still lovely

Smart, clean small and personal hotel situated in a quiet residential area some 15 minutes’ walk from the sea-front and another 10 minutes or so to the centre of Budleigh. There is parking at right angles to the road along the front of the building – and although full, at times, there was enough for all the rooms. Our room,...
