This time I stayed in one of the tiny houses in Lærdalsøyri, belonging to Sanden Pensjonat. This was a chilly autumn night, and luckily the tiny house was warm and cozy, with a wooden heater. Despite the catastrophic Big Fire in Lærdal recently, the owners trust us and provide both firewood and matches. This tiny house is perfect for two... More

Very cozy and small b&b. in Lærdalsøyri. Breakfast was simple but nice. The staff was very polite and helpful. Clean. Bathroom was common, but there where no other guests there so we had it for ourselves. I would stay at this place again.

We spended one night here. The B&B is little but very cosy, our room was enough big for us two. The owner is very very helpful and ready to help you with everything you need. Breakfast was good and the hotel very close to the fiord.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night in one of the smaller rooms with a double bed. It was an excellent experience. The house is really charming, and it is situated in the middle of the pleasant old town. I particularly liked the room we had breakfast in, which felt like a well-kept living room from a previous... My wife and I stayed at the Sanden Pensjonat for a single night in August 2014 while on a month-long holiday in Europe. The hotel has lots of character and the staff were friendly. We stayed in a room on the ground floor, which meant we could easily hear all the reception activity and guests transiting in and out. Fortunately... More

We got apartment 30- a small apartment for 4 with a very comfortable kitchen, a bathroom with all we needed (towels!) And two not-so-small bedrooms. There was a waterfall just outside our window. The price was OK. Great pleasure in Laerdal!

This is probably the most pretty place to stay in one of the most unique villages in Norway. In the deep valley, with high mountains on three sides, and the fjord on the fourth, you will find Lærdalsøyri, the old part of the village that barely escaped the Great Fire in February 2014. Sanden Pansjonat is simple and reasonable place... More

First of all, this is not a cheap B&B. Compared to its price, it did not offer so much. The room was OK, spacious, with some antique and some plastic decoration (odd). This is an old building with original wooden floors, so each move made upstairs is heard. The breakfast was very basic: dry bread, toasts, some jam, cheese, nothing... More

This little pension has a great location in the historic district near the center of town. It's just a short walk to the salmon center, grocery store, and tourist info. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. We used a clean bathroom and shower down the hall. Breakfast was meat, cheese, coffee, bread and jam. The internet was fast... More
