We had the pleasure of spending three nights the end of June at this hidden gem. Tucked into a pine forest high above Sarteano, the owner of La Torre Ai Mari, Renato, offers his friendly and efficient hospitality. The rooms are comfortable in the traditional Tuscan style, as is the hotel in general. A large out door terrace, with large pool offers commanding views of the valley below the Lake District, and into Umbria. A great place to sun bath and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was buffet style, with ample offerings and featuring home made pastries. A full service bar and billiard room complete the picture. Not close to town (ten minutes by car) but an easy drive, it's remoteness is it's uniqueness. Renato's friendly guidance, mapping routes through small hill towns and making hard to get restaurant reservations was greatly appreciated us. Well worth a stay if you're looking in the Sarteano area.

We spent two nights at La Torre ai Mari and were really happy with everything. Renato welcomed us as we pulled up and was the definition of hospitality our entire stay. As a hotelier myself I can appreciate spotlessly clean accommodations and they absolutely exceeded all expectations. You can see the pride and care that’s put into ensuring their guests are comfortable and welcomed. We came in quite late after a wedding and they’d left us our key and two bottles of water at the reception desk, which we really appreciated. Also, the daily breakfast is fabulous. We highly recommend La Torre ai Mari if you’re in Sarteano.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at La Torre ai Mari. The B&B is situated close to to Sarteano, up in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. Rinaldo was very helpful in suggesting places for dinner and to visit. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The freshly baked goods were tasty as well. There is a bar on premise and Rinaldo makes a great bartender. We plan on coming back to this area and will definitely stay here.

Gorgeous hotel. Spotlessly clean. Quiet & restful. Lovely views from the swimming pool terrace. As it is quite high up it was nicely cool for July. We spent 5 nights here & would love to go back again.
