Badia is full of charm, has an exquisite garden, good wine and an excellent restaurant. It is in the middle of Chanti, so there's a good deal of places to visit. Don't forget to taste their olive oil.

A beautiful, peaceful agriturismo in an old monastery. The views are lovely, the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, the breakfast is a huge buffet in an amazing room. The restaurant food is superb. Our unexpected upgrade to a garden view room was delightful. The whole building is full of interesting furniture and paintings. The wine is especially good, from...

The Badia is charming, historical and serene. I travelled with my daughter and 14 year old granddaughter and the apartment was just right. The upstairs bedroom access was a little perilous, but fine for a teenager. The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast buffet superior and the grounds and chapel perfect. The restaurant next door was very convenient. Thank you...

Gorgeous place with great hospitality really recommend it and trying their wine. Also their restaurant right outside the hotel was one of our best meals we had in Italy. The rooms have a lot of history since it was an old monk monastery

We had wanted a retreat in the middle of our Italian vacation, and we came upon mention of this property in a wine guide book. We had visions of something nestled among olive groves and vines, basking in the sun on gentle rolling hills. Instead we found a historic property high on a wooded hillside, remote from any village (at...

We had an excellent 1 night stay here in early March. They were not yet open for the season, but were gracious enough to accommodate us for a 1 night stay as we wanted to experience the Chianti region before heading to Florence. The grounds and views surrounding the abbey were beautiful. The Italian style garden was also impressive. We...

Superb stay in this beautiful abbey. Really nice romantic French garden with an organic vege farm. The former crypt now is a wine cellars. The rooms are spacious and authentically antique but well kept. The abbey your & wine tasting is also great. Food serve in the resident restaurant are also good.

It was great to return after so long and the food and service were still excellent. The Chianti Classico was a perfect choice. The beef cheek melted in the mouth and the duck was perfect. Great views and well worth the 2 hour drive!
