The hotel has been very well designed and executed. Unlike some contributors we liked the setting in the old railway station and loved the old engine on view outside the dining room. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms spacious and comfortable . My only gripe would be that, whilst not unfriendly, the staff did not make us feel welcome or...

This is a boutique hotel in a place where you would never expect to find one (next to the train station). Very modern, beautifully decorated and appointed, the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was nice and helpful recommending places to eat. We skipped breakfast but they still made us coffee before we left (for free). It is walking...

The hotel is comfortable and staff is friendly. Design is beautifull but sometimes too much prioritised above functioality, like in the bathroom, where the shower is open with a wet floor as a result. Advantage is that it only takes about 10 minutes to walk into town where there are many restaurants and bars. Disadvantage is that it is situated...

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend break. The hotel is very modern and clean. Breakfast was good too. I recommend for someone who wants a central hotel in Modica. The staff speaks good English and they are very helpful.

Despite the slick renovation, the Hotel is run by incompetent staff who were unable to fix an air conditioning problem, so we slept with the window open. The hotel was full so they could not offer us anther room. The Hotel was full of school age students who made loud noise late into the night. The tiled floors are unforgiving...

We had an excellent 3-night stay here. The pluses for us were: -Free parking -Large room -Comfortable bed -Friendly staff -Excellent breakfast -Speedy Wi-Fi We didn't mind the walk to the city center. It took us about 10 minutes from the hotel to restaurants and shopping. We'd highly recommend a stay at Ferro Hotel.

I was in Modica for 3 nights and 2 days. The hotel was perfect. It was comfortable, large, cozy, clean, friendly staff at the front that speak Italian and English. Breakfast in the morning goes till 10 but I was late both days and they still had food out. And lots of it. Perfect to get your day started. Really,...

we asked several drivers for Stazzione and each time, we just followed them to the train station next to the new hotel. Nice breakfast, helpful staff and plenty of TV channels. Great value if you have a car. No restaurant on site.

The hotel is located close the the "dead" railway station. The area is quit but there is no garden or place sit outdoors. Easy walking distance to centre of Modica. This is a design hotel like the ones you will find anywhere. Cleaning is good. The breakfast was very good but only two cups of coffee were included. You have...

If you are looking for it, note well that it is in Modica Bassa. Heavy emphasis on the Bassa. Five easy minutes walking from the main thoroughfare, the hotel is new build, and reflects modern Italian style. It is located on what must once have been a train siding, with ample parking and it is very quiet at night. Staff...
