We stayed here for 3 nights earlier this month and fell in love with the place as soon as we arrived. Emerico is the perfect host and nothing in too much trouble for him. As well he is an authority on the local area and even though we didn't go to the archeological site here (we went to Agrigento instead)... More

Villa Sicilia Baglio; Absolutely fantastic accomodation and host. This beautiful property is an 18th century olive grove recently restored to its original state. Beautiful features include, but not limited to; infinity pool in the middle of olive groves and facing the greek temples and blue ocean of Selinunte (the most beautiful town of the Magna Graecia), beautiful country style cooked... Villa Sicilia is an oasis, a slice of the divine. It is Sicily at its serene and tranquil best. And for three glorious days, it was ours to savor. Beyond an unmarked gate and unpaved road, set amidst parched blonde earth and lush olive groves lies this enchanted retreat. Within its walls of golden stone, you’ll find a seamless blending... We arrived a bit disoriented because there are no signs or indications that Villa Sicilia exists. (Please pay attention to the email you will receive for directions!) But once we started down the narrow dirt road flanked by a stone wall to the property, our worries melted away. Quite simply, the property is beautiful. It's a heavenly mix of local... More

Our stay at Villa Sicilia was memorable and by far the best way to get to know the ‘real’ Sicily! The estate is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road and we thoroughly enjoyed the private atmosphere of this very special place. We were greeted by Emerico, the Sicilian owner and host who very kindly gave us... We arrived at the Villa Sicilia on November, 7, 2015, it was our second visit to the Baglio, and we spent 4 glorious nights. We have stayed here before 7 or so years ago and loved it and wanted to return, it surpassed our first trip which we felt was excellent. Every night we dined in a new outdoor dining... More

We arrived at Villa Sicilia Baglio with excitement--early october and enjoyed the last light over the olive trees and stone walls that surroudered and defined the property. How wonderful it was to walk around this historic house that has been renovated lovingly. To walk along a narrow stone edge to the infinity pool and watch the sun set in its... More

We have just returned from 5 nights in the Villa Sicilia Baglio. The owner, Enrico is very welcoming and we really enjoyed learning from him about the nearby sites, the history of the villa and olive growing. It is a very peaceful location.

Three days booked here was two days too short. Give yourself a gift and stay a little longer. The facility is renovated by Emerico Amara who is your host. Our stay at villa sicilia baglio was an amazing retreat! We stayed here for 1 night and was greeted by the friendly, cheerful staff. The villa is beautiful- very historical and has been in the owner's family for many years. The owner is very enthusiastic about ecotourism and they grow all their own olives. The olive oil, food, and infinity... More
