Only a forty-minute drive from Malpensa Airport it is can also be a handy stopover on the way to Lake Como. This little lakeside township has so much to offer and is much more than simply a European alpine getaway. Hotel Giardino boasts spectacular views of Lake Maggiore. The hotel itself is decently priced, with excellent service and, by the...

Stopped here for three days prior to a flight home to Canada following a one week hiking holiday in Switzerland. Front desk staff were helpful, the included breakfast was just fine with lots of choices and pleasant atmosphere. Room 103 had an old-style window with shutters that opened onto a street view of the lake through the trees and a...

Stayed at the Giardino Hotel for a six week period. The location is excellent although noisy over peak seasons. Facilities are old and in desperate need of upgrading. AC and wifi works but usb ports on TV are blocked. Next door the Giardino Pizza restaurant and lake views are excellent.

Stayed here a couple of nights. Note has air conditioning (!!). Which works real well 😊. Large room. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Low pressure in the shower. Water temperature fluctuates during shower. We think the pipes rattle in the hotel in the morning. Very helpful and kind staff.

Superb location. Would recommend lake view room. Staff exceptional. Friendly and very helpful. Male receptionist sorted taxi voucher issue for us. Bar/breakfast man ever so friendly - remembered our bar order from the previous evening and was very jovial. All in all, would recommend hotel and location highly.

This hotel has an eccellent location in the center of Arona, right on the lake Maggiore. Friendly welcome, professional staff. Our room was unfortunately some 20 years outdated with big spots on the rug and a bathroom that was some 10-15 cm above the room floor level, my husband almost tripped when coming out of there! The shower was too...

Family owned hotel on the shore of Lake Maggiore. We had really spacious rooms with balconies looking the lake. Staff was really friendly and helpful and the "hotel dog" was really cute. Arona has a great location, you can drive to Lugano Switzerland in 45 min, and Milan is half an hour away.

The title sums up the hotel... nothing special. Hotel shows it's age. This is no hotel lift, so prepare for lugging your own bags up the stars and down the long hallways. Room had no coffee/tea maker. Breakfast was very disappointing ... but probably typical for a continental breakfast. One pasty, one meat, one cheese choice, coffee extremely harsh... not...

Good location and good price. It is a bit of a lottery - our room was nice and modern with a beautiful lake view, our friends' room (also with lake view) was a vision of 90s orange. The rooms were cleaned everyday and very comfortable. You are super close to all the restaurants and I found it nice and quiet...

In terms of location, this is a great little hotel in Arona. OK, so the decor isn't great . . . but it's clean, the bed is comfortable and the shower is good. That's all you need right? Friendly helpful staff will make sure your trip goes without a hitch. Some rooms have little balconies with chairs. Get one of...
