Excellent organization and services. Owner is very close to customers and his staff is smiling and welcoming. The food is very varied with many specialities. Premises and rooms are immaculately kept. In short, an excellent memory.
Of a certain age my picture of Club Med has been of bikini clad models, free love and considerable expense - never went, thought I couldn't afford it. But this year we went for a summer alpine holiday with our daughter, son in law and...More
Loved the activities. Top notch mountain biking and hiking on offer and if you get involved in the action on offer daily you can’t get bored. Also impressed by the great guides who made an effort to speak English. Good fun ‘crazy Club Med dances’...More
Took our young two kids (5 and 3) and the grandparents to this resort this summer. The location is great, with beautiful vistas, very good food and great hosts (GOs). Importantly, the miniclub team was great - giving us a great feel of comfort and...More

We had a magnificient week at club med peisey. The food was great, especially Laura the pizza lady and cedric the ice cream man. Our son loved them so much. Also special thanks to Kevin and Mark in the restaurant for their services.

Perched at a height of 1600 metres, the Peisey-Vallandry resort embodies the convivial heart and soul of the mountains of Savoy. Close to dramatic streams and lakes and bordering a forest of larch and ...Morespruce, the two chalets of the Club Med Village, combine traditional materials with the refinement of contemporary design. The Club Med Village's location at the entrance to the Vanoise national park makes Peisey-Vallandry the ideal base for a weekly expedition to try out whitewater sports. Less

Hi Thanks for your question skiing is quite a personal thing. I like Peissey Vallandrey because the hotel is spacious the bedrooms are big lots of storage space some of the rooms have a sitting room (which doubles up as a bedroom in busy periods I presume) as well as a terrace nice, baths too for aching muscles! Also it's not just a ski resort the village is lived in all year round there is a small village just below the hotel and the main village a short lift ride down. There are also nice after ski activities a beautiful big pool a portion of which is outside (fun in the evening)! There is a sauna aqua gym and a selection of exercise classes. The hotel is very close to the ski lifts. For adults the hotel is great outside of school holidays and very international. In school holidays it's very popular for children. As for languages the ESF is very good so there are probably instructors who speak different languages though the best thing would be to check with Club Med before you go. In my opinion it's not an issue aHope this helps!
