We went there for 2 nights with our 3 children. It was much better than we expected: Patrick was maybe the most friendly host I ever met. We had the chance of dining 'sur place': the ambiance was great and the food ... chapeau! ( cooked by his wife). There are many things to go in the tegion, both during summer and winter. The kids had a great time at the jacuzzi and sauna and we left with only one thing in mind: when are we going to come back!
Thanks again Patrick & family for the time spent in your chalet.

We spent a week at Chalet Vanoise between 11-18 of March 2017. We were a large family of 9 (3 generations!) and we took two apartments. It was a fantastic experience. Patrick and Viktoria are truly exceptional hosts! They took care of all our needs (ski rentals, food, restaurant reservations, pizza ordering, cooking, really - everything!). Their idea is that they drive you EVERYWHERE and WHENEVER (!) you need. Once you get used to this you feel like a true king! Two nights we ate at the chalet (Viktoria cooked) - and it was great. Other nights we took Patrick's recommendation for restaurants - and it was always good! Bottom line - highly, highly recommended ski Chalet for families - and a truly differentiated experience!

We stayed one week with 3 families (11p) and had an excellent experience. Everyday fresh croissants and baguettes were delivered in our chalet. We were picked up and dropped at our doorstep everyday making the short trip to Peisey ski resort a moment of Information from our host. At one moment we wanted to bbq outside. We brought our cote à l'os meat (4,7kg) and asked whether we could use the gas bbq at the swimming pool... Patrick proposed to do the bbq for us (over one hour in 8 degrees) and prepared the meat for us. While at it -as a surprise- he also prepared some grilled vegetables, potatoes and some special Jack Daniels bbq sauce... There is nothing your host can't and won't do, so it seems. We will most probably be returning to 'les chalets' and will arrange for the one day ski safari with the owner, Patrick. We also think of taking our summer holidays as the region also seems to have a lot to offer outside the ski season. Thx for the exp. Patrick!

This is by far the best chalet experience we've ever had. The chalet owner Patrick Le Brun is the warmest and most genuine host you will ever meet - it is like staying at a friend's holiday home next to the slopes, where they come by every day to make sure you are as comfortable as possible, drive you everywhere so you don't have to walk, and just do everything possible to make sure you are having a great time.

We came here during Christmas week 2014 but unfortunately the snow was late this year and didn't arrive until the day we were leaving. However, to its credit, the resort could still open most of its slopes and all pistes back to base were still open, albeit quite bare and even rocky in one or two return pistes. The biggest problem was that due to the lack of snow, the ski kindergarten was closed and ESF had to cancel what-was-to-be my 3 year old daughter's first ski lesson.

Despite all this, we actually had the best time. Patrick ended up driving my daughter down to Bourg St Maurice every day, so that we could catch the funicular up to Arc 1600, transferring onto a shuttle to get to Arc 2000 where there was still plenty of good snow and the ski kindergartens were running normally. It was a bit of a trek but Patrick made it possible and she had her first taste of skiing! As for the rest of us, Patrick knows all the local shops and got us VIP treatment everywhere we went, whether it was the ski shop in town where they restored my skis as new (from the damage hitting all the rocks) or all the best restaurants that suited our group (family with young children), not to mention the Christmas dinner he prepared for us with ridiculously fresh seafood and unbelievable portions, and that was just the starter. We couldn't finish the main course or dessert but the leftovers lasted the rest of the week and tasted pretty good even upon reheat.

As for the chalet itself, it has clearly been decorated lovingly with attention to detail - the pictures don't lie. It was admittedly slightly smaller than I had expected, but then again we still managed to fit an extra single bed and a baby cot in our room (as we brought my daughter and our one year old baby boy), so I shouldn't complain.

All in all, we had the best time despite the snow this year. If you are looking for a normal self-catered chalet right by the shops and lifts to minimise the hassle of sorting yourself out, then this isn't necessarily it. But if you're looking for a unique and amazing ski experience where you don't even need to think about sorting anything out yourself (because Patrick will sort you out) then this is as good as it gets. Patrick is just a genuinely nice guy wants you to have a good time.

Word of advice if you use this chalet: please insist on Patrick taking you out skiing and showing you the slopes. Not that he doesn't really enjoy taking care of you, but I sense that he would also love to take his Stormriders out for a spin every now and then. You can let him do it all in the name of "work".

We were a large and noisy group of 15 including 5 kids (ages 4-7)!!

We booked 2 apartments with a total of 6 rooms! This is a really nice apartment, very comfortable and well equipped, and was perfect for our group of skiers. Three bedrooms each with own bathroom was a big plus, lovely open plan dining kitchen living room for relaxing after a days skiing - the teens loved the playstation and the kids loved the heated jacuzzi!

It's not walking distance to any lifts, but there is easy access to the slopes through the owner's shuttle service, which is available whenever you want it. If you like lots of apres ski bars close to hand maybe this is not the place for you, but if you want a really nice apartment where a big group of friends can sit comfortably round the table with a glass of wine after skiing, then it's perfect.

We also had daily massages for the adults organized in the Chalet itself which were amazing at 80 euros - again organized by the owner!

The owner, Patrick, made our stay so special that we are now planning to make this an annual visit for us to ski in the French Alps!!

Although the wifi was not working as we expected, Patrick and Viktoria made our stay (1 week March 2018) extra special. Their taxi service is amazing. We were picked up whenever and wherever needed. Had bread service without extra charges. And enjoyed Viktorias crepes (surprise!). As we had minus 25 degrees on the piste, the jacuzzi and sauna were just what we needed in the evening.

We have just had “the best” week, skiing & staying at this fabulous accommodation. We were 2 families, comprising 6 adults & 2 teenagers. We stayed in the penthouse apartment ‘Mont Blanc’ and received the warmest and friendliest welcome possible from Patrick & Victoria. The apartment and facilities are superb. Apartment was very high spec especially the bathrooms. Boot & ski storage room provided and the service provided by Patrick & Victoria is incredible. We were transported wherever and whenever we wanted - ski hire shop/supermarket/restaurants & bars, literally whatever we required. We were taken to and collected from to the ski lift each day at whatever time suited us, no pre-arranged times. Fresh bread & croissants delivered to the door each morning - the service was without a doubt the best we’ve ever had. Thank you Patrick & Victoria.

wonderful stay at the apartment, enough space even with 8 young people in one apartment. Best service you can imagine. Patrick and his wife were available every moment of the day to give advice, bring breakfast and drive you around. 100% sure I will go back there!

Short review: excellent apartment!

Long review: excellent apartment and here’s why!

We’ve not long returned from a 2-week stay (11th – 25th July) in the ‘Bellcote’ apartment within Chalet des Domaines de La Vanoise. There were 7 of us in our group: 2 families comprising 4 adults, a 2.5 year-old, a 1 year-old, and a 4 month-old baby. This was our 4th visit to the Les Arcs area having stayed in our campervan previously (twice in Bourg St Maurice and once at a campsite further up the hill from Piesey-Nancroix).

The apartment: The ‘Bellcote’ apartment is on the second floor and takes up over half of that floor. Patrick and his wife have done a great job decorating and furnishing – it’s really nicely done. Two bedrooms with big double beds and a further bedroom with two bunkbeds (sleeping 4 in total), all ensuite. Large living area comprising kitchen, dining area and lounge with L-shaped sofa unit, big TV, etc. Double bedrooms are superb with plenty of space although the room with two bunkbeds is a bit of a squeeze, especially if like us you add a baby cot. Ensuites are great with big showers. The lounge has 2 big balconies on the front and side of the building, big flatscreen TV and lots of seating. Kitchen is ‘compact’ with not a lot of food preparation area, but it’s well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, big fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, etc. And it was a bonus having a clothes washer/dryer too. Patrick offered us access to a big storage room on the ground floor to keep our bikes in but we were happy keeping them on our vehicles.

Parking: private offroad parking with enough space for 2 vehicles per apartment. It was a big tight for our campervan but that’s our own fault for bringing a big vehicle!

Swimming pool: Wow! We chose Patrick’s chalet because it had the rare addition (in the Les Arcs area) of a private swimming pool. We could’ve stayed in a chalet in Vallandry or similar location which would’ve suited us better, but the swimming pool more than made up for that. The pool area is FANTASTIC: big swimming pool (warm too), lots of loungers and plenty of seating and sun shades. Patrick went out his way to set out lots of toys, a paddling pool and a bouncy castle for our kids which was very much appreciated. Having the pool really made our holiday, particularly with the hot, sunny weather we had and having 2 toddlers keen to play.

Location: this was the only slight negative for us. That’s purely our opinion and as I say above, the swimming pool more than makes up for the location. The apartments are on the main road directly below the Vanoise Express – look down and you’ll see the only swimming pool! Less than 10min of uphill walking/riding bikes takes you to the bottom of the lobster pots (aka the Lonzage lift) using an offroad path Patrick showed us. However, the path’s unsuitable for buggies and the lack of pavement on the main road meant pushing up the road itself. The road isn’t that busy but it’s still not the nicest pushing a buggy with 2 kids. The gendarmerie gave us into trouble for walking up the road once but there’s no real other option if you’ve got a buggy!

The welcome: it’s the small things which make the difference, and Patrick couldn’t have been nicer. He was there to welcome us and show us around our apartment, he went out his way to set up the toys, etc at the pool area. Patrick and his family were living in one of the apartments and was always on hand, not that we had any problems during our stay. He’s a really nice, friendly, genuine guy.

Would we stay again? Absolutely yes! Other apartments might be better located but none have the superb swimming pool or offer as good value as these. Future visits to the Les Arcs area will involve our campervan and/or caravan, so we’re unlikely to stay in an apartment again – that’s not any reflection of these apartments, purely because we’re lucky enough to have our own accommodation! But if we change our mind and look for an apartment again then we’d happily return here.

I’d like to finish by thanking Patrick for his hospitality once again.

This place is first of all about the owner and the manager, Patrik! he makes all the difference between another good hotel and one of the best. his service is over than expected. he drives you whenever you need, he advises you where to ski, he ski with you, asking for your well being, clears the snow and many more.
Also the chalet is very clean and nice, big tv, lots of kitchen appliances and general home appliances like washing machine etc...
the location is fine. even if you don't have a car, Patrik will lift you anywhere. and if you have a car, even more easy.
