We have stayed here twice before, 13 and 16 years ago and you never know whether a place that was outstanding in every respect before would be the same way again. This time we came back with a load of friends and took the whole place to celebrate my birthday and I am delighted t

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Sous l‘olivier. As some of the recent online reviews weren‘t too great, we (2 couples) weren‘t sure what to expect. Please don‘t listened some of the negative voices: this place is a true gem. Down to earth, nice rooms and overall wonderful hosts. W

We were really looking forward to this place from the reviews, but left a bit flat and would probably not recommend due to service/host.

Positives - lovely buildings, garden, pool, breakfast spread, snack menu platters, and dinner was excellent.

Negatives - host was moody and h

Hello We always take great care to satisfy the people who stay in our house and try to give the maximum and that for 18 years. We are perhaps one of the only host houses practically every night, it takes a lot of work on our part and our cuisine is recognized for its quality. Our parties around the table talking to people around the world are very popular with the majority. If that does not suit, it is always possible to eat in a restaurant where you can choose what you want to eat. Go back early so that it is not too long for your child. We are not a hotel, it is very important to understand this. When you come to us it's in our house that you enter a place where our children play and grow. We are not infallible and sometimes maybe the fatigue does not help, if you had the impression to embarrass I apologize. Julian Carole, Hugo and Clovis

I thought this place was a great find based on the reviews and pictures and vibe but I ended up disappointed. Positives are the nice grounds and amazing breakfast spread, which is probably the best I’ve ever seen for this kind of B&B.

Negatives though outweighed the positives

I never had this scenario, a person residing in the house who sends us emails to talk. In 18 years we still have surprises. Actually no air conditioning you knew before coming but in a mas of the 18th century the walls are thick enough to keep the freshness with a fan. When you talk about cleanliness, it is my wife who takes care of that we never had any criticism on the subject. Your so-called dirty cloth was immediately changed. For the 180 euro rate for 4 people including breakfast tax include , 45 euros per person with 2 rooms in family suite. Julien Carole Hugo et Clovis

My family and I have just stayed there for tfour days and have really enjoyed the place. Nice farmhouse, strategically located quite at a convenient distance from the most beautiful places in Provenza (Menerbes, Gordes, St Remy) . The rooms are comfortable and beutifully decorat

This looks lovely. Does it have air conditioning? We'll be traveling in July.
Do not know...I would email them and ask...I would say yes. It is in a prime location to visit all of the Luberon and the hosts are fantastic...wonderful breakfast and special dinners too. they also have a great pool.

Hi! I am planning anamazing trip next year, 2016 August. Do you rent the entire place? Or can we "hold" and then have our friends reserve that will be coming? And what is the capacity of your place? It looks really perfect :) Gina
Julien is the owner with his wife Carol. I would email them directly and ask them your questions about reserving rooms. They are very helpful. Be sure to eat as many dinners cooked by Julien in the evenings for a fee per person. He is a fabulous cook and you will remember his multi course dinners for years to come.
