What a magical place! Loved everything about this place. The restaurant was superb, the staff helpful, the grounds gorgeous! Loved taking the bikes around the nearby villages. Had a great experience tasting wine in the region. The concierge arranged a truly amazing horseback ride for us! A must see!

We stayed at Bastide de Marie in July 2016 as the last stop on a family trip. I'm so glad that we saved this for the end, as it was the perfect way to a finish off a fun & busy vacation. The Bastide is picture perfect and you are immediately made to feel at home here. The staff is...

La Bastide de Marie is the most perfect place to stay in the heart of Provence. We stayed here in June, 2016 during our honeymoon trip to the South of France. We wish we stayed longer. The views and ambiance are superb, and the service is excellent. It'a an authentic Provencal property with understated luxury, offering peace, quiet and comfort....

We were five friends vacationing in Paris and Provence. Our third of four stays was at La Bastille de Marie. We arrived to the sweetest welcome and most stunning accommodations. The food, the staff, the decor, everything is what one dreams of when dreaming of Provence. Each detail was chosen to delight. Our only disappointment was that we had to...

La Bastide was chosen by my wife that did the booking. I really did not expect this. The place was beautiful, relaxing and quite enjoyable. What comes to mind besides the food being exceptionally good, was the staff's dedication to detail and service. They appeared whenever you needed them but were not obtrusive. We booked a Truffle Hunt which was...

I had planned a birthday surprise tour of France for my husband's birthday. So everything needed to be perfect. La Bastide de Marie contributed some of the best memories. Margo who was our main contact there was amazing (she made sure every detail and need was attended to and became a fast friend while we were there)! The rest of...

We so loved the Bastide de Marie that we altered our itinerary to end our trip to Provence happily ensconced for three more nights. Upon our return we had a different room. Both were exquisite and comfortable. The grounds of the Bastide are beautiful without feeling manicured or precious. The casual breakfast buffet was, to our taste, just right. Dinners...

It's rare I give 5* but this place would have more if that was an option. It's unlike any hotel I've ever been to in that it's completely informal and totally relaxed. Set in its own immaculate vineyard this tastefully converted building is an absolute gem. The interior decor is amazing giving the impression that family heirlooms, flea market finds...

A few months ago I booked, or rather thought I had booked a standard room for two nights. Never noticed though that the hotel had decided to reserve us instead a rather peculiar gypsy caravan sitting isolated beside the pool area, and never once asked for my approval. The room is called La Roulotte and it is worth consulting the...

Yet, I shall do so: Bastide de Marie. sublime ! romantic ! charming ! adorable ! lovely !... beautifully set admist wineyards, TLC to details and interiors. only little booboos: why use plastic flowers instead of real ? and the food could have been...
